neither is really a guarantee or better than the other but i do feel that counter tickets depending on the location and how friendly the clerks are with customers, they could help chasers find the big wins. I've had hints dropped to me when a big win has been claimed in a pack at a counter which will sway me to try something else and i've see the reverse. I do like the complete mystery of what ticket # will come from a machine.
