Too real, have jars, bags, ziplock bags of ends saved and I don't make amigurimi or anything that needs to be stuffed, and yet my brain is like save this, you"ll need it one day.
I've finished all my presents but 1-3 scrunchies. I'm really proud of myself because this is the first time I've crocheted Christmas presents.

One of the abilities that I admire about you, besides your crochet ability, is how you can think out loud, and continue to talk while you're solving a conundrum. If I had a UA-cam channel, when I ran into challenges, I'd stand there thinking quietly in my head leaving a lot of silence space. In television, your ability is a desirable trait. Continue to speak at all times. No dead air time. You've done it while making the blue and orange ball, and also when you challenge yourself to crochet with a tennis ball. You've done also in other videos, but the challenges haven't been that big so I don't remember. But every time, I think it's wonderful! It was well worth the effort. You are not a quitter. Good for you. The color choices are great. That looked way too hard for me to ever attempt. I like a challenge if I can wear it.

I'm only making 2 Christmas presents this year! A cowl for my mom and a blanket for my 8-year-old cousin which he requested on Thanksgiving. Mom's cowl is done except weaving in the ends + the blanket squares are all finished I just have to connect them and do the border :))

I am SO curious to see how that Granny Sq All In1 works for you! I've seen other crocheters do it but some get so anxious about how they treat it. Even changing hooks mid Sq in order to make sure they finish on the color indicated. Makes me think this yarn isn't going to be in production that long.
You crochet pretty quickly though, and loosely, so I think you focus more on getting your work done than on where you finish a color. And if it's that important, then I can probably guess you'll just get the colored skeins you need/want, and add them in as you go, than fiddle w/ a skein directing your way.

If the sides are a bit flatter and squarer, i think it can be used as a real D20.
I think it looks great! I would have given up at the 20 triangles part…
I would've used a box cutter to cut them out, and spray adhesive to get them on the yarn triangles. Maybe gluing 5 at a time. I'm disabled so I try to find shortcuts for everything! 😍
😅 I totally love the die! But... I do feel like you made it WAY harder than it needed to be lol. What was wrong with doing the connecting exactly like the flat layout of the printed paper one was? Do all the horizontal "strips" first (like a granny square afghan) then the verticals, leaving one open to stuff then close up. I feel like you were kinda reinventing the wheel doing it top down. Of course I haven't made one yet so who knows, that may not work either lol. Yet. Yet, cause I'm definitely making one of these and take it to use! 😊
I was trying to cut the yarn as little as possible so I would have fewer ends to deal with lol, not sure if what I did was easier or not though

I wouldnt have put the card board in because when it comes to children's toys, especially ones that are going to be on the floor, you want them to be washable. With the cardboard, it's not washable.

Congratulations on pushing yourself to the test by thinking outside the box with this 1! Also I didn't know you sketch your own designs and sell your own unique patterns, that's really true talent right there and amazing overall. Keep doing your thing your phenomenally fantastic and I just want you to know that. Your boyfriend owes you at least all 30:22 hours of watch time for this 1 right here, nah I'm just joking but seriously he should so he can truly understand how hard it is to make videos like this specifically while focusing on hard projects that nobody else is doing with no help at all. Like it can be easily frustrating depending on the person and their personality traits they use on things like this.
