They didn’t seem to work with non-Apple The iPhone 11 Pro I tried out won’t stream to Android TV, it won’t print to my network printer (it needs something called AirPrint or whatever, which my printer doesn’t have), it won’t let me access my local DLNA server, it won’t let me SSH to local Linux devices on the network, and there are tons of other reasons. I already hated the company before, but my hatred increased 10 times after I got my hands on one of their ‘premium’ iPhones. Imagine spending $1200+ on a mobile phone that makes half of the already working devices in your house good for nothing in an instant. I can’t be expected to drop $5,000 for making everything around me ‘iPhone friendly’ and throwing away all the already working existing devices. I’d rather stick with Android.
I like having complete control over my devices. Even if that means spending days and weeks getting something to work exactly the way I want to. It’s exactly the opposite of what Apple gives its customers. The warranty of my Android phone breaks the day I buy it (because I daily drive custom ROMs), so after-sales service also doesn’t matter to me. I’m someone who knows beforehand exactly what I want to buy, so I don’t bother with anything equivalent to Apple Care, or in simple words, mobile phone shops and service centers. I just go to a shop, tell them what I want, buy it, and forget the whole ‘experience’. Also, Android phones that cost 1/10th of the iPhone last for 4-5 years in my hands and still rock the latest Android with the latest security patch (thanks to the custom ROMs), which is long enough, more than worth it for the price. The hardware gets obsolete after 4-5 years (especially the battery), so another upgrade becomes necessary.

This has to be one of the grossest concepts I've seen.
- The fold cant have just a corner hinge point, the whole thing would fall apart.
- Who the fuck would want a screen on the back of the device??? In order to use it you have to scratch the fuck out of your front screen, defeating any benefit it has
- Why the fuck would anyone want a folding device? They break like nothing and give literally zero benefit.
