You probably don't like "oud" (/woody) scents, which makes sense for a teenager. Oud is considered a challenging note for adults too. I feel like to pull off Oud, you're going for a bit of a darker, slightly mature vibe. If you get a decant of PDM Haltane (which is considered a "beginner's oud" fragrance), you'll also notice it also dries down to that characteristic woody smell, rounded out by subtle sweet praline note.
Honestly don't see it as a summer fragrance. The pinapple for sure but since it lasts for like 30mins, it doesn't even count. Then the spices and the vanilla start to feel cloying AF in high heat. Put this on the other day and my gf wouldn't approach me lmao
I’m gonna try to let this one macerate. I like the smell a good bit but you can hardly even smell it after a couple hours unless you bury your nose in your skin. Most of these lattafas need to sit a few weeks anyway so we’ll see.

i put mine in the fridge and it gave it a way better smell idk if it sped up the maceration but it smells better than when i got it

I spray my skin and my clothes and I spray at least 30 times I have no problem with performance
