I need hearing aids only when I'm in a noisy situation, which occurs only twice a week. I have a slight hearing loss with high frequency roll-off. So a battery powered hearing aid set makes more sense to me instead of rechargeable hearing aids.

For me it is not size, but the hours of using the hearing aids as I work and use microphones and streaming a lot. I am afraid that a rechageable simply would not give me the hours that I need. So my next pair is battery-operated.
Their are definitely pros and cons to each battery type. Battery operated units can offer longer use for the one battery! Hey Issam! Great question, if size is your main concern we would recommend using a battery operated hearing aid. However if you want the convenience of being able to charge and go, rechargeable is your best bet!
