Ruben Amorim has arguably been Sporting's finest manager with: 237 Games 170 Wins 34 Draws 33 Losses He secured 2 league titles, 2 Allianz Cups, and led the team to the UCL Round of 16 for the first time in a decade, generating over €200m in player sales.
Utd never even officially approached him because he was touted by city since 2012, and never was he ever gonna reject the chance to join his old Barca colleagues and a team that was well structured top to bottom
All I hear in pep’s voice when he says wining the “premier league in 2 seasons is so so good” just says Erik should have been given more time 2 seasons down the drain 😢🎉❤
I agree he should have been given more time cause look at the amount of time arsenal manger was given after poor seasons and winning jack shit in the process.. United will continue to the depths of hell there's no rising in site..
@@ltreanor99Arteta won an fa cup in his first season, however you can call it Jack shit if u want, that's your uneducated opinion. He's since taken Arsenal from a top 10 side to title contenders. Ten Haag also won a couple of trophies in his early tenure but his league form was dreadful, I really really wish he'd been given more time.
The English media have absolutely slated ten Hag the whole way through and bring the knives out once he's sacked (and yes, he deserved the sack). Unacceptable 'Come to Man City to see how Pep manages'? How bloody disrespectful is that?!?
Quick sacking is yet another thing that state owned clubs has brought, but not to themselves. It has become almost impossible for the other clubs to remain competitive, and the bigger the club, the harder it is. The French clubs are almost all on the verge of bancruptcy with the exception of PSG, and little by little the PL is going down the same path.
Amorim may do well at Man United but Pep is the best in the business & will remain the king of Manchester. Why didn't Man United go for Zidane he's out of Work or did he have the sense to say do 1 I'm waiting for Peps job even if it's not for years.
he actually talked really well about Amorim some time after that game, saying he was a great manager but no one pays attention cause he is from Sporting

So was Ten Hag for Ajax. Wonder how that turned out for him

That means 0 in the premiership
Pep is genius answering questions
Nothing genius about it, he is just being honest. Which is so odd in a world where people have to LIE all the time to avoid drama
Summary of the press conference:
30% City
70% Man United manager situatio
Impressive talk .. humble and on the spot on all his comments especially about managers !
The top top manager. Love Pep !
Cried when he joined city instead of united .
Money talks

These journalists with their questions doesn't make sense. Why would ETH ask pep to come to see them at city?
They have NO respect for Ten Hag that is why

this guy beating the sporting 5-0 saying man united got a great manager :)
So if City beat Spain's womens national team (current world champions), does that mean their coach is crap? Are you mentally challenged?

Pep’s brilliant but so is Amorim. I’m sure if for one game pep managed sporting vs Amorim’s city, that city would win
