Henry, could you tell me how I can find all of your videos about setting up a shopping cart via PayPal please?
Any idea how to make it so when they add to cart, it doesn't go directly to Paypal until they click "check-out"? or "View Cart"?
Tag me, if you know how
can i ask what plan youre using? im trying to create a website and im a small business in canada, i dont have 30 buck a month for shopify
Brilliant Henry, can I just ask, if a person clicks the Buy button, do they have to have a Paypal account to proceed? Thank you
The customer will not need a PayPal account to complete the payment.
They will just need to input their card details.
I hope that helps!
Thank you so much for the tutorial.
Love this. I really needed to figure out how to do this. However, I am still trying to figure out how to startup my business. I think I need something in a proper sequence. Like 1. Create Website, create website name, get domain, etc.... I have a lot of things to do and I don't know where to start.
Michael Orozco Also, you need to think in a good product to sell online.
Ram Hernandez I already have a good product. I am also a videographer. I create highlights videos for high school kids that are trying to get a scholarship or get recruited for college. I have a few teams and I try and have at least 5 players per team to sign up to get a highlight video.
If you just want to sell I think you should just ask a friend who knows how to create a website. So it won't be that expensive. Usually domain and website are always together.
Tell us what else you would like us to cover in Season 3 of the Website Series!
thank you soooo much
So you get paid for the product and shipping, but what about text fields for the shipping address?
And what about text fields for messages to the recipient, say if you a delivering a present?
Go Daddy shopping or Paypal shopping cart? Which is better?
Thank you so much 💋💋💋💋
Is there a way of viewing your cart without going to the PayPal website? Like if I click on “view cart” can it show me what’s in it, in a drop box or table?
Nope
Thanks for your help Mate! Thas bril
When i add the button, i get this message when i click on it, 'Things don't appear to be working at the moment. Please try again later.
What could be the problem?
Do you have a fix for the redirect option? It's not working on my end.
Thanks, Guys as i have said before you guys are Brilliant at what you do :)
Thank you so much! We have fun doing it! Thanks for watching.
*QUESTION* How do I get a result from a PAYMENT process ( like STRIPE or PAYPAL ) to Trigger an Event or Function in MY website ?
I am building a Business Website where in steps ( 1 ) a Customer ( anyone this is not a Subscription nor membership site ) comes to my web site Fills out a Form for DATA SUBMISSION into the Database. ( 2 ) Once the DATA Form is filled out they press NEXT button ( 3 ) they are taken to a 3rd party PAYMENT page where they fill out a payment form and then press SUBMIT ( 4 ) once the SUBMIT button is pressed payment is process ( 5 ) ONLY AFTER PAYMENT IS APPROVED THEN I want the Data to be submitted into the data base.
QUESTION Is STEP # 5 completed with JS or some other language ? HOW do I complete the process where AFTER PAYMENT IS ACCEPTED from a 3rd party payment processor ( like STRIP or PAYPAL ) THEN the data from the Already filled out data form is submitted into the data base ??
Do you offer business consultation services?
Is there a way to have postage re calculate depending on the ship to address?
Hey Smart Biz, at the moment the paypal button just has a set amount of P&P that you can charge. So you might need a different button for shipping to another country? Alan
You could use that drop down menu, that showed the different types of t-shirts in this video, but change the wording to different locations to let the users select their shipping location which will then change the overall price when they buy the product. I guess the problem with this is that they could choose a cheaper location.
Hey Henry so say someone wanted off me a car wash n then they wanted too add a wax n a polish would I you the shopping cart button for that? And would I need too put the button on the separate pages too because the wax, polish and car wash would be different products
Hey Ashley,
I would do it with a drop down menu within the paypal button. It is a tick box and then you can create a drop down box with different levels of car wash. Makes it easier than a shopping cart
Thanks
PopUp Business School thanks
do i have to add the button to every single item i already have in my weebly site manually through the items sku, or does it add to all my items in my item catagories at once?
Thank you!
Thanks for this, really helpful. I am a society selling tickets and currently using simple payment button wordpress. I now have a limited ticket event and wanted to cut off sales at 25 on the payment button, is this possible? Then second question, how do i ensure the simple payment button sends a confirmation email to the buyer? PayPal seems to send an email but I've not received one from the society when i've tested? Any help would be gratefully received, thanks. Jane

This is great and I do truly love your voice but....it does me no good on Facebook :( Thanks anyway
Hey Gail, Thanks for the message. How can we help you on Facebook? What are you trying to achieve?
When my cusomers click the PayPal checkout they are taken to a page and are asked for my info... any thoughts?
This apparently no longer applies. Sad, it was a great tutorial, but pay pal does not appear to work this way. I do remember a long time ago making buttons, but not anymore. Well not this easy
Bro I love you ❤️
