I used to only buy fragrances based off Marc’s reviews and not once did I purchase a bad fragrance. I’ve been watching since 2009. I hate to admit that I got sucked into the new “influencers” and ended up with fragrances I don’t like. I’m coming back home starting today! ROBES08 FOR LIFE!
Marc, I have smelled Le Male Elixir and I agree with everything that you said in your PERFECT review of the fragrance. You are the only reviewer who accurately reviewed this fragrance. Every other UA-cam reviewer hyped the fragrance like they do all new fragrances. In their world, every new release is great and groundbreaking. That is total B.S. Only about 5% of the UA-cam reviewers are honest and that is why I only watch & comment on a small number of reviewers. I have always said, if every fragrance is great, then no fragrance can be great. Every fragrance can not be special but most fragrance reviewers will never admit it. Man I been watching your channel for years and I can attest to the fact that you are not afraid to tell the truth. I appreciate that because these influencers will have you spending every dime on the newest fragrance.
I’ve had the OG Le Male, Ultra Male, Le Beau and Le male le Parfum and now Elixir. I would say the Elixir is my CURRENT favourite and I don’t get sick of it after like an hour as a I do le Parfum (despite that being my previous favourite Le Male). Perhaps because its smell is close to Stronger with you Absolutely which is my favourite Stronger with you. My Elixir bottle also lasts 8+ hrs. By the way I have over 100 fragrances so I’m not new to the game. It is quite a youthful fragrance so I wouldn’t wear it to anything formal as I’m of an older generation, in fact I would not wear any Le Male fragrance to any formal event except casually. I do agree that Elixir is nothing revolutionary but it is quite pleasant. I respect Mark and have been watching his channel for over 12yrs, long before fragrance review channels was big on UA-cam, so keep up the good work. Robes08 and Street Scents were my go to channel fragrance review channels

7/10 is a fair note, blind bought this and kinda regretted it, i still prefer Le Male Le parfum over this but will probably keep this in my collection even do i don’t like it that much because i really like the design of these jpg bottles LOL😅

Great review, 7/10 is very fair. Not a groundbreaking release but very solid and safe. Not a release for enthusiasts but for the mainstream crowd. That being said, I enjoy it a lot, perfectly caters to my sweet designer cravings I have every once in a while.

You should try for yourself and come to your own decision. I respect Marc and been watching him 12+ years and completely disagree with his assement of Le Male Elixir. It’s not a groundbreaking fragrance, but it does last ages, performs incredibly on my skin and garners really great compliments in my experience. This coming from someone like myself with a 100+ collection with fragrances costing in excess of £800. Try it yourself and decide for yourself.

I didn't try this one, but I just have to put a comment on original Le Male, there are only two fragrances in the world that actually bring emotion of pure happiness and those are Le Male and A* Men, they are my comfort zone and everything is going to be alright fragrances. Not sure exactly why but they act like serotonin bomb on me, always put smile on my face and I think nothing will ever come close to them in that regards :) One rhetoric question where did all the happy fragrances go? I miss the 90-ties

Hi Mark, I'm totally in line with you! Hype socia medial beast totally overrated to me. The scent it's ok, almost identical to other designer fragrances (Armani code absolu etc..). Projection it's NOT EXISTENT for me. Absolutely forgettable. 5/10
I’ll do my best to not start this with “To me…” 😅 I’m definitely new to fragrances so this was a fun fragrance find for me, enjoyable in the colder temps. Could it be I haven’t gotten my newer nose on better stuff? Probably! I still enjoy it…and can’t wait to try the better stuff following the channel. It’s fine for you to have the opinion you have. Don’t let anyone make you feel any less because they may or may not have more experience than you. Fragrance is very subjective so your nose and personal experience will determine to you what is good and what isn’t.
Between those two, personally I'd take intensely but honestly if this is for yourself I'd go out and test and not ask me or any reviewer. We can only interest you in scents or give you ideas but at the end of the day it's your nose and you should wear what you enjoy.

*I have a full bottle myself and respectfully I disagree with you on a few points. This thing, on my skin projects CRAZY! My wife is anosmic to a lot of my fragrances due to a large collection but even she commented I smelt really good, and this was 4 hours in. She said she could smell me all over the house. That’s based off 5 sprays. Then went to the supermarket and was stopped / commented on 3x about how nice I smelt “you smell really nice young man”. So objectively you can’t say the fragrance lacks projection because of your own personal experiences Marc. I’m not an influencer either.* *Second, I feel this is kind of mainstream but not Azzaro mainstream. To me it’s an almost more crowd pleasing version of Tom Ford’s Noir Extreme for really good longevity and projection. Let’s not project that fallacy of “in my day” because you hold the original with a certain sentiment. Let’s really judge this on its own merits.* *And on that basis, this is a good release! As always people, try it for yourself and make your own judgments!*
It has the same core/base ingredients of most sweet/vanillic fragrances these days. Very boring and generic IMO. Halloween Man X pulls this off for $25.

I agree about the modern use of lavender. It smells like air freshener.
For sweet designers would you take stronger with you intensely or Le Male Elixir? Or can you recommend another sweet designer for fall winter?
Between those two, personally I'd take intensely but honestly if this is for yourself I'd go out and test and not ask me or any reviewer. We can only interest you in scents or give you ideas but at the end of the day it's your nose and you should wear what you enjoy.

I sampled this one at Dillard’s and I have the le male le parfum. I really like le parfum, and i thought elixir was nice.
