This is one of the biggest decisions you will ever make as a family and I guarantee you won't regret it! My advice...Enjoy the ride, dont sweat the small stuff, study and learn about what interests them along the way, be patient, make it an adventure and a year to remember, and plant Gods Word and truth deep into their hearts and minds.
We’re doing the same thing, for the first time ever! God bless our children ❤️ We are also in full-time ministry 😁 No anxiety in Jesus’ Name! We trust You, Father, with our children’s learning, as we honor You fearlessly.
Yes! We've allowed the state to indoctrinate our children for too long! Parents so worried about socializing their childten when the Bible says to be set apart. We are not to be conformed to this world, but transformed by the renewing of our minds!!! Building that foundation for a strong family unit is crucial! May God richly bless your time together!!! Don't worry about all the book work. Take it a little at a time! I guarantee you that a little time spent reading or writing together will far outweigh the hours they spend in school doing busy-work! Teach them how to labor to enter into His rest!!! 💖💖💖
Great idea & one you both will never regret! You can take your kids traveling with you. They will see history live! I home schooled my 3 kids. My youngest 2 children were home schooled for 8 years. We traveled so much around the US, & saw history live. By the time my youngest 2 were in high school, they have been to so many historical places on the East Coast & throughout the entire US.
GREAT CHOICE. You will not regret!!!! It is the best. I did some home-school teaching with nieces, nephews and Christian families. I loved it - the freedom to bring God into any part of your lesson!!! Blessings to you, and I KNOW you will succeed! You may feel that you don't know what you are doing, you will quickly get into the swing of things!!! I loved using Beka Books, and BJU Press and loved the content of especially the science and maths curriculums. I know you will enjoy it! So excited for you!!!
Congrats! Welcome to the club! Parents are more than capable to teach their children and more than capable than a government. I’m happy for you! You will have so much fun! And get lots of games! Gameschooling is so much fun whether it’s mixing in or just doing it completely! 💜
Congrats! Faithful is He who called you who will also do it! 1 Thess 5:24. I have a daily prek plan with my 1 and 3 year old that I pieced together through random ideas of what I wanted them to learn via amazon products and little things I picked up at the target $3 section. You guys can do this! There is so much joy, purpose, and freedom in educating your kids for yourself! And teaching your kids the Bible academically and intentionally.l along with the other subjects. I was homeschooled my whole schooling. It was great! With the world how it is, my husband and I felt it was obvious that we must take extra care to protect our kids from the messed up agenda that’s being pushed out there. UA-cam is super dangerous in the way of deviant videos for kids too. Always monitor them. Jack Hartmann on UA-cam is good! His educational songs will get stuck in your head forever. Also try abc mouse instead of UA-cam. We love it. Thank you for your movement. Let us worship is my happy thought for 2020. Whenever it just feels like this year is too much and I’m disappointed about all the rules at my church, I picture all of y’all having a worship dance party for Jesus and take comfort knowing that somewhere in this nation, there are people like me praising Jesus, unafraid and with BOLDNESS. Please come to Augusta, GA! Praying for y’all and the work you are doing for Jesus!
I think that's awesome that you're homeschooling the kids. At least you'll have a certain amount of control of what goes in their little eyes and ears! And you're both smart and educated people. So, homeschooling should be a breeze. Halleluyah!
You are annointed to teach and guide your family. Everthing counts . Cooking cleaning laundry. All chores are curriculum. But you are free. Not only that . You as the parents,, se the unique specail gifts God has endowed to them. So you can taylor their educate them aqa according. Specify .... have fun.
That's The Homeschool mom of grown children I can tell you you are absolutely doing the right thing! Just remember never let travel get in the way of your child's learning. They will learn so much Moore Ann the road seeing the world then they would ever learning the in classroom! May the God who sees watch over you and bless you and your children as you enter the exciting part of your life
Wow! I am so elated for you and your family! My sister and I were homeschooled all our lives, and while it was difficult for our mom at times, we would not be the the same people that we are for today. It is imperative that WE create the culture for the next generation to become kingdom-minded visionaries and revivalists. You will NEVER regret this decision! ❤️😄🔥🔥
All of our 7 children were homeschooled & because of that, when the LORD put us in music ministry we were able to be wherever the Yahovah wanted us with ease. It is such a blessing! My children are all grown now & they are still in ministry, as well as having businesses of their own. I am so thankful for the responsible men & women if God they have become! 💝 Don't expect perfection of yourselves, Yahovah qualifies those that He calls. You will never regret this wonderful decision! 💝🙌🙏
I home schooled in California it was an awesome experience. Home school kids are more academically advanced, more mature and have better communication skills. I loved the freedom from regulations, unfit curriculum, bad associations. The public school curriculum has so many anti Christian teachings I mean learning about homosexuality in K-2, gender fluid, disrespect parental authority etc. I have no regrets, you cannot go wrong public or even private school kids don't learn as much as home schooled kids. Good for you.....
I’m so happy for you all. And how wise. I know you will do your best, that’s what is important. And it will be filled with God. Thank you also for leading worship with others, that just toughest my life. Something good happening in these cities. It is what we all need. The love of Jesus.
Yes its awesome that you could home school it's crazy what they are putting out there to the children. Insanity is right. Everything that's right is wrong and everything that wrong is considered right. We need to take it back and put God first in everything. Thank you for leading our country to worship and revival. you have such a beautiful family. God bless you ♥️🙏🇺🇸
If it’s one thing that was an “unintended blessing” from 2020, it’s that the educational system was totally exposed! Now many parents can SEE what’s been taught for so long to their kids. And I can only imagine the SHOCK many are dealing with.
Good for you!! I homeschooled my kids they are now adults and doing great!!! My son is a Marine my daughter works for ManTec and has a top secret clearance.
Congratulations! Such a good choice to homeschool, even more so now. A big tip for you guys...just keep it simple, don’t over complicate things. So easy to do when we first start out. So much of their learning will come from everyday life things. I hope you guys have a blessed homeschool year! 😊💕
We are homeschooling for the first time too, for all the same reasons! Praying for all of us parents as we step out in faith. It will not be easy, but it will be good!
Homeschool!!! I was homeschooled my whole life and now that I am attending University, I miss the days when my mom was my teacher. Homeschooling is so worth it!!
So happy for you and your family! It's hard work (for the parents), but I am so grateful for all of the experiences I enjoyed as someone who was homeschooled. We did nature journaling (which involved going outdoors to sketch something and writing about it), and I was involved in music lessons and ensembles, a speech and debate club, and many other great learning opportunities. God bless you on your journey!
I am so proud of you two! My 6 children went to public school in 70s and 80s and it warped their minds about life and Jesus. I have regretted that so much and now pray God will get ahold of them. Don't allow this humanist culture to ruin their minds and kill their spirits and imaginations. Praying for you.
Homeschooling is the best! My kids are grown now, and have kids of their own, but I was a single Mom and home schooled part of the time. They both ended up graduating high school two years early and going on to Christian Colleges to get degrees in teaching, and graphic design. They are healthy, happy, God loving women that are a joy. The best advice I can give you is: to ask and listen to the Holy Spirit for guidance in every area, even the small things. When my kids were stuck, I asked for wisdom, and God gave it to me. When I asked for patience, God gave it to me. When my girls were telling me they did not want to go to public school because they thought God was telling them not to, I listened to them and honored what they believed God was telling them. It turned out to be the best decision ever. My girls never rebelled. The more they made good decisions, the more I gave them honor and freedom. When they were teenagers, I told them what I felt God was showing me, but then I would tell them it was their decision. There were times that I prayed like crazy that they would make the right decision, battling in the spirit anything that would try and steal from them, but they always made good decisions. As adults they have thanked me, and said that when I gave them the choice to make their own mistakes (with lots of insight and guidance from me), they felt they had to do what was right. :) Don't be set in your ways when it comes to worldly norms. Just do what the Lord tells you, and you will do the best job ever!!! It is the most important job we have. God Bless you all!
Love your insight and wisdom!!! We also homeschooled 13 children they’re all blessed with happy families and running their own businesses!! God gets all the glory and praise!!
One year of homeschool co-op prepared me for university more than all of my other public school combined. I’m a teacher in China now, I can assure the public education in the states is a sad joke
I made it all the way through high school with my kids. Had 7 children and its easier to homeschool then to send them to school. Biggest plus is no late night homework. They do their studies and then play time. All of life is a teaching moment. Go team Feucht
I have a feeling you two are going to be fantastic homeschool parents! :-D I homeschooled our youngest daughter (the "ours" of "yours, mine, and ours"--three boys and three girls, in all) in 5th & 6th grades, then she went to public Jr. High for 7th & 8th grades. After that she attended 9th grade in public high school, but neither of us liked the results of that, and for her final three years of high school, we homeschooled all of her academics, and she went to school ONLY to do arts classes (band, choir, and silversmithing). During her Sr. year, she also participated in the local youth symphony. The director asked if parents wanted to join their teens as well, and I was one of the ones who did--renting a trumpet and doing what I had enjoyed SO much while in high school myself...playing in the band once again. :-D Throughout all of her academic training, we turned things like shopping trips and and her going to work with me (where I was a church secretary at the time) into parts of her schoolwork. She also helped her dad with his woodworking--learning to use power tools--and me with my painting and crafting (we ran a woods-and-crafts business for those same years). She was a great help with the sales efforts as well. She completed her GED at the end of her Sr. year, in the top 2% of the nation in all subjects--even in her writing skills, which had been hard for her in public school...she's dyslexic...very much like me. We found out early on, that the reason she'd been having problems while in the public schools (even though we really liked most of her teachers, etc.) was that she was REALLY bored, in most cases. When she tested after her Jr. High years, the counselor who administered the tests and one of her teachers were both flabergasted, because she was assessed (at the end of 8th grade) as having the accrued knowledge of a post-graduate college student...as long as she was allowed to go ahead and complete her tests at her own speed. If she had to follow time guidelines, she never could pass most tests, even below grade level. Given the time to finish at her own speed, she ACED everything. We have never regretted homeschooling her, and learning, also, that she is a global thinker, rather than a linear thinker, which had also been making her public school life harder, since most teaching in the school systems is done in a very linear manner. Now my husband and I live with her, her husband, and their eight children (we bought a 8.5-acre hobby farm together). She and I homeschool the children (since 2015)...all of whom are WAY ahead of what would be their public school grade levels, and who all also have a good knowledge of the Bible, and all of whom are born-again (except little Eliel, who is only 7 months old...but who is learning a LOT of stuff already, because he's in on what everyone else does). It's just their lifestyle, now. Not a single one of them has any thought of ever going back to public school. They LOVE learning at home, and I doubt they'll ever stop learning. It's just part of them, now, along with doing their chores and praising the Lord. :-D
You don't have to be perfect! Pray & God will lead You & show you!! There's so much curriculum!!! There's homeschool conventions, when they can start again!!! I felt intimidated at first. But its great to study things your child is interested in! Find other homeschool families for support & co-op's are a huge support!! We had academic coop & a field trip coop!! My daughters had plenty of activities! So we were always very busy & had lots of support & friend's! It worked great for us. We traveled with my husband with his job. We were always on an adventure!!! It's nice to see that homeschool families are not weird or freak's anymore!! 😍😉😊🙂🤗😀
I think you have made a very wise decision. Twenty years ago, I homeschooled all four of our children here in Eastern Canada. It was the best decision my husband and I made as it gave us freedom to travel with our children while doing mission work. We became so close as a family and were saved from a lot of heartaches other parents had with their children in public schools. It was alot of work but so worth it all!!!
I’m a homeschooler from the 1980s. Yes. I’m 70 years old and now my daughter, who’s a homeschool graduate and finished at Texas A&M and who’s now in admin in our public school district, asked me to help homeschool our 10 year old grandson. She bought Abeka curriculum with some videos like her sister in Colorado who uses Abeka but without videos. Every subject and lesson proclaims the glory of God with the truth that “the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.” Prov.9:10. Instead of gender fluidity from your UA-cam video he’s memorizing the Americans Creed and Bible passages, plus is excellent in all subjects. Then there are co-ops. It was through homeschooling, I LEARNED about Americans forgotten Christian history and theories of Creation as opposed to evolution. I also want to say to you, that your worship and ministry travels are very encouraging and bring me to tears of joy. In the midst of chaos and confusion, deceit and hatred you shine brightly in the darkness and bring me confidence that God is in control. Enjoy your homeschool experience but watch out -you might just love it!
In two years I will have home schooled six kids for 30 years, (there was a six year gap between the first three and the last three). Check out Green Leaf Press for an amazing History curriculum. The husband has a master's degree in histor,y, and his wife has a nasters degree in English. They start with Old Testament history, then Greek ,Roman ,then on to the Middle Ages, etc. They show God's hand throughout history. My kids got Sooo much out of this curriculum. You can teach them as a group, I also got them books by G.A. Henry to read ( Godly historian that wrote 99 books about history ). They are fun books to read , my boys couldnt put them down. When my son took drivers Ed , his instructor happened to be a local history teacher. When he found out my son was home schooled ,he grilled him. When he got done driving the teacher told me that my son should be teaching history!!!😊May God bless your journey, I have NOT ONE regret !!! Not all days are gonna be easy, but the pay off is HUGE!!!!!!!😄
Wish this could be an option here in Germany too!!!! You are blessed that you have the opportunity for homeschooling in your country! Do it-God will bless you and your children! You both do a great work! Blessings from Germany 🙌🏼🙏🏼🙋🏻♀️
Who says you can't supplement their education at home? My family traveled a lot so everything was an opportunity for learning. Little every day activities can be used to teach. Don't be discouraged. God bless!
Congrats! I started homeschooling last year with the same mindset “I don’t know what I’m doing or if it’ll work”, I’ll tell you, it will work and you will learn with your kiddos. My advice BOOKS, and more books and then go get some more lol. Tons of picture books and read alouds. Five in a Row, and Beautiful Feet have great book lists that are really rich in values and heart. My 1st graders favorite book from last year was Follow the Drinking Gourd, which I found using Five in a Row literature. Have fun!
I homeschool 24 years ago, it was one of the best experiences. I homeschool three different grades at once, the memories are forever. We wanted our children to learn about the Lord and teach them things the schools were not .
"Have books will travel" was our motto when husband was in the U.S. Navy and we were homeschooling. I had a milk crate for each child to keep their books in and one for me to keep the teacher guides in. Thank you both for all you do for Christ.
Homeschooling is a beautiful privilidge. Momma, there are some great podcasts out there to encourage you; homeschooling is it's own ball game and offers so much freedom. You can bring Jesus into every subject because it really is all about Him. Blessings for you BOTH because it is a team effort.
HOME SCHOOLING IS THE WAY TO GO these days 10 years ago when my daughter so what's going on in school even way back then she took her 2 children then out of school and now she's homeschooling all five kids she has It is not an easy Road it is hard for her with five kids but she is determined to do it because of what's going on in the system she also do not allow them their computers all give them a cell phone without her supervision He just can't trust anyone is now I'm so glad that you took that step everyone should try the utmost best to do it
God bless you & your family!! Seems like a great decision for sure! The example you shared about what you discovered setting up a profile, is so scary, wrong and potentially beyond damaging for children! ....But God!! Praying for you and all God’s children!! 🙏🏼😊💖🙏🏼
I started homeschooling my kids when they would have gone to public high school. As a substitute teacher having gone to the schools convinced me not to let my kids go. Don’t regret it AT ALL. My advice is DON’T get a boxed curriculum (like Abeka), which is designed for a school setting. You will be overwhelmed. I wanted to cry when I got the material. Deer in headlights. I DID use it but also adjusted to other things. Went through a Florida school to get accreditation.
Also in California so I know what you are saying about what children are being taught here. I am a great grandma and have been homeschooling my great grandson since he was able to start learning academics at about 3 years old. He just started kindergarten and is doing 1st grade work. My son started his children and others in his ministry on homeschooling 20 years ago and every child has graduated with top grades. It is the best way other than a trusted Christian school. I am sure there are lots of really good teaching tools available now. Also there are a lot of great comments here from other homeschooling parents if you read them. I am praying for your family and your ministry. Blessings to you all!
@@juliedeane4327 I don't believe so. There is a brick and mortar school in Chicago by the same name that is who provides the homeschool program. One of the reasons I liked it was for its free market economics perspective that is not taught anywhere in any lower education schools.
You are going to love it... it’s like a red pill experience when you are able to impart real truth to your children all day long and not have indoctrination. Tip... routine, routine. Even if it’s worship for first half hour or drawing , stick to routine. Give them time to explore interests and write about what they love. Also try to get most of work done before or right after lunch. So many multi age strategies and curriculum but keep it simple and I like coops to get some family fellowship
You can do it! I just laughed when I heard the news propaganda say that kids MUST be in school. 🤦🏻♀️ I homeschooled our two girls way back in the 90’s during their elementary years. By the time they reached middle school we lived in great small towns with awesome school districts here in our home state. The administrators were leery about taking our daughters without testing them first. They later told me they had never seen any kids more self motivated and better behaved than our two daughters. I just thanked God for allowing me the opportunity to be the one to lay their foundations. They both ended up graduating high school in three years as co-valedictorians. They both had jobs, college classes, extracurricular activities, in that mix as well. I believe homeschooling set them up for being able to handle that kind of responsibility. Fast forward...our oldest daughter is now married with two adopted sibling sets of three. She homeschools all six of her children. Every year. COVID changed nothing for them. She and her hubby do a phenomenal job with it. Our monkeys are all very smart for their ages, they all have varied interests, and they have a very close walk with God. Makes this Mimi very happy!! Our other daughter has two degrees, one as an RN, the other as a COTA (Occupational Therapy) and works in pediatrics ministering to kids with physical challenges. So thankful for that time we invested in our kids to set them on the path to love God, love learning, and love people! We used Alpha Omega way back when there was no online option. Our girls had LifePacs. They have their own website, but you can also buy their materials at Christianbook.com which is a great company I have bought reading and educational materials from since the 90’s. Praying all goes well for you! Stay safe and keep up with the revival! I believe God is going to wake this nation and people will turn to Him again! 🙌🏼❤️🙏🏼
Oh my goodness how shocking! I'm sure others are sending you SO many Christian and EXCELLENT websites and resources for you. They are out there. I'd also recommend a membership in the HSLDA if you haven't heard of it. We started our home school journey by accident over 20 years ago, and it's been the hardest and best decision! Just graduated our bonus child and sent him off to the military. So proud of you both. These are tough days and many of my friends making these tough decisions. You are the best ones to disciple your children through this time. Bravo for you.
Homeschooled Our 3 children for about 5 or 6 years. Loved it. Start with your scope and sequence (What is required learning at each grade level) Observe how each child best learns. Auditory Visual or more hands on learners. All of life is learning. A trip to the grocery store. Can be math , cost comparison, health and nutrition ect. Pick some great books and read aloud to the kids whenever you can every day if possible. It will greatly improve their reading and comprehension skills. And wrap you learning around your life. All of life is learning. Make it a grand discovery. Have fun and God bless you on your journey
As a 15 yr homeschool veteran, I highly recommend homeschooling families to join Homeschool Legal Defense Association HSLDA.org. With the current political climate, it's vital for families to have Godly legal protection and advice. I call it homeschool insurance. It's affordable and and a great resource as well.
Please be aware of UA-cam children’s programs - my sisters son seemed to act like he was going through withdrawals or something when he could not watch this programming that seemed to just be teaching color and counting but I knew something was really wrong it was not so obvious - but weeks of searching Because they thought I was a bit of a conspiracy minded person and I was crazy to think these videos were bad What is really going on You don’t need UA-cam kids just a good old fashion approach- back to basics - books 📚 God Bless Wanted to share because I would want to know
Excellent! Watching all these protests that have been going on makes one wonder who taught young people to hate America so much anyway. May you be abundantly blessed in your journey.
I have home schooled my now 12 yrs old since she was 8. Best experience ever. Alot of sacrifice on my part as in career development etc, but worth the investment in my daughter.
Yah, we homeschool, and we protestants all have to get your kids out of the corrupt system, even the private school I used to send my kids too had a crazy Bible teacher that gave all sorts of crazy information. Stay in prayer and the LORD will make your homeschooling a huge success. Hope to see you in Michigan Sean, long time fan of yours :) Love your talks on missionary work :)
This is going to be A M A Z I N G for you and your kids! 🙏♥️ Jesus called us to homeschool several years ago, and for us that meant we could start the day with worship, Bible and prayer TOGETHER as a family. Also: Not only the kids learn from homeschooling - the parents do too! You can do this!!! ♥️🙏 Blessings from Norway 🇧🇻
Good for you!!! So proud of you guys!! You are very wise to do this and you are more equipped than you think!!! Enjoy your family !!! Come Holy Spirit and bless and create many beautiful and powerful memories!!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
We educated our 6 children at home...and on the road. They are all grown, homeschooling their children. No one ever knows "what" they are doing! 😂 However, commit your way to the Lord and He will direct your footsteps! No regrets here! The Lord BLESS you! 🤗😘💕
Good for you!! "Train up a child in the way he is bent (with individual giftings and talents) and when he is mature, he will not depart from it."- (Proverbs 22:6) You will not regret it! There is awesome curriculum out there, and with your wife's background in education, she knows how to train and teach them suited to their own personal learning styles. It's win -win!! Holy Spirit will lead you every step of the way. The travel and adventures you have given them thus far are greater than any formal classroom could ever provide!! Have fun!!
Ps. I’m using Abeka 😁 it’s been highly recommended by many, including my Dad, who has his masters in education and has been a Christian School principal for over 30 years, if that helps!
Dear Pastors Hooray!!! We were pastors for years and now in transition to go back to the Mission field of Italy. Homeschooling was one of the best decitions for the family and ministry. The Holy Spirit Will help you one day at a time. We live you, pray for you and thank you for all you do! Congratulations!!!😀❤️
Great decision! I home schooled three sons 15 years, until each graduated. First son started 7th grade, our first year, second son 3rd grade to start, last one, from preschool thru graduating.. No other school. It's tough sometimes, yet so worth it. Their grown now with families of their own. Each son had outside activities weekly... My tip would be, learn each kids learning styles... So u can create unique teaching that matches the way the child learns. It saved me a lot of frustration. Blessings and success to you both. Cynthia Tobias has an excellent book on learning styles.
That is awesome doing home school. My hubby and I have many friends and family who home school and dome have been doing it for years. One thing about friends n fam doing home school, all the children are polite and respectful. My cousin and sister in law also get involved with a co-op. It's for Christian home schooling parents and it offers music and some subjects that parents may have trouble with. Like my sister in law had is due with some of the science. So they have other parents who can tech that in the co-op. You guys will do great!!!
We knew God was calling us to live on mission. We knew there was no better way to do this than homeschooling! It has been so sweet to watch the unity between our 6 kiddos❤️ Thankful for your obedience! How funny that we don’t think we know what we’re doing, yet GOD made us there parents.
Congratulations! I homeschooled all five of my children. I was a single mother at the time. I would do it all over again even though my baby is now 25. My one piece of advice would be to begin with the end in mind. Not just academically, but the kind of humans and disciples that you want to present in the world.
Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it! Proverbs 22:6 and All your children shall be taught by the Lord, And great shall be the peace of your children. Isaiah 54:13
It’s my first year to homeschool too!! Praying for you as you take this beautiful time to shepherd your kids’ hearts and minds!!
The greatest thing about home schooling is we can teach about God and HIS Son Jesus and the Word. Amen. Home schoolers- GO. Press on 🎚❤️
This is one of the biggest decisions you will ever make as a family and I guarantee you won't regret it! My advice...Enjoy the ride, dont sweat the small stuff, study and learn about what interests them along the way, be patient, make it an adventure and a year to remember, and plant Gods Word and truth deep into their hearts and minds.
I feel the same! They need normalcy and school isn’t providing that. God bless you all as a family in all you do!
We’re doing the same thing, for the first time ever! God bless our children ❤️ We are also in full-time ministry 😁 No anxiety in Jesus’ Name! We trust You, Father, with our children’s learning, as we honor You fearlessly.
best decision ever for our next generation! god bless in your home school journey!
Yes we homeschooled, my daughter is now mommy of 3boys, my son a former navy pilot! It works friends and frees your family up to serve Him!!
Amen! :-D
The people of God are to be leaders even in an ungodly nation. Look at Daniel & Joseph. We are blessed & anointed by God.
Wonderful when you can do that. Pray for single parents who can't financially. They are extremely tired and frustrated.
Can you guys come to South Carolina ???
Your local Dollar Tree store has a lot of practical school supplies.
Specify .... have fun.
I loved homeschooling!
I love what you two are doing! Gender fluidity or Jesus Christ? You have clearly made the right holy spirit inspired choice.
Finally 😉.. joking... that's awesome. We have been homeschooling since the beginning and our children love it ...
That's The Homeschool mom of grown children I can tell you you are absolutely doing the right thing! Just remember never let travel get in the way of your child's learning. They will learn so much Moore Ann the road seeing the world then they would ever learning the in classroom! May the God who sees watch over you and bless you and your children as you enter the exciting part of your life
You will thank yourselves later. We homeschooled our son who is 19 now. He is so respectful & intelligent. No regrets here!
Live free , yes the school system is destroyed , every one must do this ! Don’t believe it will change , the officials are liberals
@@wynettegreer3812 definitely right
The worst day homeschooling is better than the best day in Public school
Amen!
Amen@
Totally agree with home schooling. I did that years ago. We only had to spend a 2-3 hours a day to cover more than the school covered in a whole day.
I second this!!
So true Christian schools have problems too often avoided due to $$$
I’m so happy for you all.
Our job as parents is critical. The messages they are getting from the world is not good.
Good for you!! I homeschooled my kids they are now adults and doing great!!! My son is a Marine my daughter works for ManTec and has a top secret clearance.
I think that is awesome. God bless your journey.
Congratulations! Such a good choice to homeschool, even more so now. A big tip for you guys...just keep it simple, don’t over complicate things. So easy to do when we first start out. So much of their learning will come from everyday life things. I hope you guys have a blessed homeschool year! 😊💕
Yes...great advice! :-D
We support you and your decisions!!! My wife and I Homeschooled our 3 boys and never regret it!
We are homeschooling for the first time too, for all the same reasons! Praying for all of us parents as we step out in faith. It will not be easy, but it will be good!
Determine to not give up when you run into problems... God has the answers.
Wow! This is outstanding news! Congratulations! The best news ever!! God bless you all!!
Congradulations!!!!
God will bless you and prosper you beyond measure. Yes yes yes
Wow. You are so blessed. This should be contagious!
Love your insight and wisdom!!! We also homeschooled 13 children they’re all blessed with happy families and running their own businesses!! God gets all the glory and praise!!
Great decision! The homeschool community is amazing. You will be amazed at what God shows you as you do this with your family.
God's blessings on your family! We homeschooled all four of our kids and those were the best years of our lives.
Throughout all of her academic training, we turned things like shopping trips and and her going to work with me (where I was a church secretary at the time) into parts of her schoolwork.
I always say, "public school is no place for children"!
Check out Classical Conversations! It is a phenomenal program and we parents are learning a TON right along with our children!
I was homeschooled I worked in ministry for a while and now I run a six figure business and do ministry on the side for fun. True story!
Keeping you lifted up in prayer for God's wisdom in your home school journey. I'm sure it will be a blessed experience :) HUGS
In two years I will have home schooled six kids for 30 years, (there was a six year gap between the first three and the last three). Check out Green Leaf Press for an amazing History curriculum. The husband has a master's degree in histor,y, and his wife has a nasters degree in English. They start with Old Testament history, then Greek
,Roman ,then on to the Middle Ages, etc.
HOME SCHOOLING IS THE WAY TO GO these days
10 years ago when my daughter so what's going on in school even way back then she took her 2 children then out of school and now she's homeschooling all five kids she has
It is not an easy Road it is hard for her with five kids but she is determined to do it because of what's going on in the system she also do not allow them their computers all give them a cell phone without her supervision
He just can't trust anyone is now
I'm so glad that you took that step everyone should try the utmost best to do it
I was homeschooled all the way through baby!
Yes! Be their stability as Jesus is yours. Show them the way. Way to go!!
Bro! So good! I'll keep you guys in prayer for sure!
You will love it, the LORD will give you Peace....Psalm 29v11, the LORD will give his people Strength and Peace ♡
Went through a Florida school to get accreditation.
home schooled my kids and they went on to university and came top of their fields
I used "Christian Liberty Academy" program. It provided answers to several concerns by Chritians and freedom activists.
Is this associated with the Liberty Christian Schools?
@@juliedeane4327 I don't believe so. There is a brick and mortar school in Chicago by the same name that is who provides the homeschool program. One of the reasons I liked it was for its free market economics perspective that is not taught anywhere in any lower education schools.
Excellent decision. This is a silver lining in the Covid cloud - parents deciding to homeschool!!
Welcome to Homeschool. We just graduated our first one. God will guide you for sure.
Please be aware of UA-cam children’s programs - my sisters son seemed to act like he was going through withdrawals or something when he could not watch this programming that seemed to just be teaching color and counting but I knew something was really wrong it was not so obvious - but weeks of searching
Because they thought I was a bit of a conspiracy minded person and I was crazy to think these videos were bad
What is really going on
You don’t need UA-cam kids just a good old fashion approach- back to basics - books 📚
God Bless
Wanted to share because I would want to know
I was hoping you were going to say y'all were moving here to Texas to be apart of Bethel Austin 🤣🤣
We were in the same situation...so we're at home too! It can be challenging with two working parents, but one day at a time!
Way to go. You won’t regret it. Easy Peasy Home Schooling is really popular.
Good for you!!! So proud of you guys!! You are very wise to do this and you are more equipped than you think!!! Enjoy your family !!! Come Holy Spirit and bless and create many beautiful and powerful memories!!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Great choice! Blessings to everyone!
GREAT decision...raising Godly children for the next generation.
And just so you know, I am a credentialed CA teacher.
Homeschooling rocks! You will be blessed. We live it!
We home educated our sons for 11 years, and would do it again in a flash! All the best to you and your family!
My husband and I were homeschool in different seasons of our lives and we are homeschooling our family. We love it!
Wisdom. Blessings on you and your family.
