- Опубліковано 21 жов 2024
- In this video we're learning how to light a scene using only natural light. they're cute dont worry
Yes but hair and makeup were on point.
@@mrfilmmaker2537 Oh thank you! :) all self done haha!
You are both so lucky keep rocking ❤️
@@BradyBessette I loved this tutorial man. Now if the sun could just stay where it is a bit longer, we could shoot for hours! But since it's not, I'm guessing this setup might last for an hour or so
I love that you do this for those who don’t have the gear. It’s so kind of you to create tutorials for all levels of creatives. Love your heart for others and creative mind! 🥰
I'm so happy people find value in ti!!
This looks like a blockbuster done with no actual active lights... amazing how you show the differences with lights added or taken away, makes it really easier to grasp what you do and why! Love it!
thank you so so much!
the haze tip 'less is more'!!! a mies van der rohe quote!! what a unique way to set the scene to make the superstar talent shine!
If it wasn’t for her modelesque glow, there would be no lighting to work with
Love the way you talk about light. Light is everything.
There is a reason why your growth on UA-cam has been exponential.
Thank you so much. Lighting is just so fun
I like the way you explain and show things, Brady. I Like it.
thank you so much!
So informative thanks for the videos mate, please do continue like uploading
Genuinely feels like this is a masterclass!
I hope that’s a good thing!!
@@BradyBessette it definitely is!
This far side key look is practically everything for cinematography. Looks fantastic!
ohwe LOVE it
Less is more. Such great advice. When I was starting out I wanted lights every where in my scene, but looking back my videos look really sourcy. Thank you si much man
I relate! Thank you!
man youre the king of teaching how to be a lightbender xD
Hahaha no wayyyy. Thank you
Brady you’re a beast. Tips are out of this world.
Thank you so much !!
That was a very helpful video. You are creating one of the best channels on youtube 👍
Nooo way not a chance! But thank you so much :)

Thanks man for coming through, I was stuck.. You are the best
My favorite cinematic lighting tutor❤
Always appreciate your awesome videos.
Thank you so much !!!
Dude you have a serious gift for lighting. It’s certainly a weak point in my filmmaking skill set & ive learned a ton just from watching 3 of your videos. You’ve earned a new subscriber!
Wow thank you so much! It’s addicting for sure
This music is making me emotional about windows
I think that's a good thing!!!
🤣😂🤣
The progressive visuals were so helpful. Awesome video!
Your lighting tutorials are top notch!
That means a lot thank you
Love the passion you have for light. Something we share. Cheers!
Thank you so much :)
Ok MYTEL
Man, I really like every content/tutorial you out on your channel. They're full of technical insights. Thanks!!!
Thank you very much for the support
That bounce card wrap light is the special sauce! Sadly, I couldn’t really get into the scene because I only watch videos with REAL coffee drinking going on.
Hahahahahah we will change this in the future. SORRY
New Layer HAHAHA STOP
@@SaraAnn Oh now you're trying to tell me what to do?! I feel attacked...
But to be 100% honest, your fake coffee drinking skills are really good, haha. I hate watching TV shows where they fling an obviously empty mug around.
@@NewLayer ahahaha you're funny, but thank you! Ohhhh I agree, so irritating when there is no realistic consistency.
Im realllyyyyyy gladddd i found your channel on my home page. Thank you for making these videos!!! Your exppaination really boosts my knowledge about lighting! Please do keep making these videos!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I'm really glad as well! thank you and welcome!

Thank you! Will do!
Another great tutorial Brady! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much
I just found out your channle today. Going through so much detail and taking the time to explain is much appreciated. It's like taking some fresh air between all those video experts/rockstars who focus on shiny transitions and loud music than the actual information. Keep up the good work! I can't stop watching your vids😂
well thank you and welcome!!
Love the beautiful simplicity!
Shots look great man. When the project calls for it, I love shooting without lights and working with what's available. It adds authenticity.
It really does. I’m super excited with how this came out
Great video, man... Thank you for the time and effort ☺️

Nice videos, I love this channel, from Mexico
Welcome!!! Thank you for coming
Great Video! Like always.
Thank you a lot!
It looks really good! Great job
thank you so much!!!
I hope this doesn't sound amateur, but how are you getting that moody look? Is that your edit after post? Even with the lights form the window will result in a bright look, but how do you get the dark/moody feel? I just love it so much:)
No question is a bad question! Don’t downplay yourself! But I do get the look afterward, I am creating a lut pack with that included :)
@@BradyBessette Ok great!! Thnks:)
This is essential advice for filmmakers. Are you using an iPad as a reference monitor? How are you achieving that? Apologies, I'm about 5 years behind on camera tech and things move at light-speed in that industry.
Do u used the ipad pro as a monitor? If yes can you tell me how? Thank you. Your videos are super helpful!!
Yes I did! I use a hollyland Mars 400s pro and it’s great! Link is in my description
Good work man. What are you using to hook up the video preview to your iPad?
It’s a Hollyland transmitter! I made a video on it if you’d like:)
What hazer are you using? And do you have any recommendations on cheap alternatives for haze? Thank you!
haze in a can is an option but also any halloween fog machine can work!
this was a great one.. thanks
Thank you for all the endless support!
U r the best, mate 🔥❤️
Thank you a lot!
Remember A Rule Whenever You Click On Brady's Video Just Like It Even Before It Starts.
That’s not true! You may not like it!! Lol but thank you
Great tips, thanks!
And thank YOU
Really cool stuff those tutorials you make :-) 🙏
Thank you a lot!
Just wondering if the test shots have been color graded or directly from the camera. At 5:28 the color showed in the monitor is very different. I like the low key look, so like to know if there are extra steps other than lighting. Thanks!
I did grade it to give this look!
@@BradyBessette Thanks for your clarification!
what set up you using to monitor feed with ipad ? great video as always man i love it !
Hollyland sent me their Mars 400s Pro! It’s sweet! Link is in my description for it
Could you make a video about haze/fog? What kind of fog machine are you using? Is there really a big difference between haze and fog? Thank you!
I can yeah!!
The tutorials is supper cool thanks
Thank you very much
Awesome!!. please what focal length are you using and how far is she away from the wall?
Another Gem!
thank you!!
I did a music video the other day and I initially wanted a low key with widow light and haze but the client ended up loving the smoke and we ended up with a high key, smokey "dream effect". All because I pumped a little bit too much smoke at the beginning of the shoot.
hey as long as everyone loves it!
Ty, helped a lot a project i'm doing.
Thank you!!
Damn this is a very good channel I keep on coming back.
Thank you so much and welcome back!
Just caughtup!! thanks teach!!!!!
Thank YOU
Amazing ❤️❤️

Amazing man
Thank you tons
@@BradyBessette yep 💙💙
man is there any other way to mark this channel as favorite other than just bell notifications..
Yes repost to every platform !! Lol no that is plenty. Thank youso much
Why do I feel nobody has ever told me to bounce on the far side of the face. Great tip!
I really love your videos, keep going!
Thank you!!!
Hello and thank you. Is it possible to have your rushs for trying color grading?
I am planning on doing some videos for that soon!
I love you brady❤❤
This is great content, will we ever see videos on post production part 2's to these lighting videos?
yes, My current computer is WAY too slow to screen record anything, new iMac coming this week!
Every knowledgeable video bro
Thank you kindly :)
Solid tutorial!
