@@ewi_den the oboe. I think for sax it is accurate in the fingerings but at the oboe changes F # (in the oboe) for F natural ewi wich is very wired. What do you recomend me to do ?
@@ewi_den what happen if you play in any mode fingering like sax and try to aply the keys of up a half semitone etc.. lets say you play a D + G# Ab key, still sound a D or any thing else? thanks I really appreciate your advice,
@@chavadiec The keys will only transpose in the E1 fingering mode. 1. If you are using the EWI to read music, probably would be easiest to use the Oboe fingerings. 2. If you are using the EWI for silent practice, probably easiest to stay with the Oboe fingerings. 3. If you are only playing EWI on a few songs, again Oboe fingerings would be the easiest. 4. If you are planning on studying improvisation and adding EWI as one of your instruments, the E1 fingerings are absolutely the best choice. Hope this helps.
Hi, this is possible to do over any set of fingerings ( sax flute oboe evi ) or just applies in the EWI 1 set fingering ? Thanks
It only works in the E1 settings. What instrument is home for you?
