I bought one new in 1995. A DX "special edition" coupe in green. I think the "special edition" meant added AC. I paid $15500 Canadian. It was great. I sold it 11 years later with 135k km on the odometer, and bought another new eighth gen Civic that I still have. Never had to do anything to the 95 Civic other than regular maintenance.
Agreed 1990 to 97 is the best body styling.. i personally like the 92 styling the most. Cool vid bro (edit) The original Honda red is the cherry on top.
Are you 100% sure on the weight being 2300 pounds.. I'm just curious I've heard different figures.... Nice car nice reviews love EJ1/EJ2 Civics....this one is really clean thanks for the review🔰🏎️👍🏾.
@@thekhakiobserver3128 You're right about the auto being heavier .....yeah I specialize in the 5th and 6th gen Coupes so if you ever have any questions I'll be glad to answer... I try to get as much info on them as I can for historical reasons.... I hope to see more of this car on your channel.
Ppl with know how usually engine swap and tune an engine from an Acura of similar or later years. You could also install a turbo kit on the base engine. Nothing too crazy or else you’ll overwhelm injectors, suspension, etc. for smaller boost change the intake and exhaust.
I would also advise anyone who drives one of these to brake early because if it didn't have the optional anti lock brakes you may slide when braking suddenly especially n wet roads...brake early and slowly pull up to the next car and the car will have a long and accident free life🔰

Nice! I’ve known a ton a of people with eight gens. They are bulletproof.

Thanks I love 90’s Hondas…I’m not 100 as this is an automatic transmission so prolly a lil heavier, but it should be around that weight.

Yeah the brakes are definitely “period correct”. I definite didn’t break like I was in a modern car coming down off ramps and other areas.
