  • I was recently in Churchill to photograph the mother polar bears and their cubs coming out of their winter dens. While in Churchill I had an opportunity to see the new futuristic electric Tundra Buggy built by Frontiers North Adventures. It was so cool! Really exciting to see technology moving forward that's going to help us save the planet. And... still get to see Polar Bears. ‪@PolarbearsinternationalOrg‬ ‪@FrontiersNorthAdventures‬ ‪@CanadaGoose‬

I will be interesting to see the impact of extreme cold on the batteries and corresponding range. Has to be great for the wildlife.

Not sure. Maybe someone from @FrontiersNorth will join the conversation and give some details.

Yep, tiotally heated. Warm as toast on the day I took this ride even though the outdoor temps was probably -10°F

Extreme cold and lithium batteries. What could possibly go wrong :/ Lots of things.

Actually they’ve been running it now in -30 to -40 degrees F temps and it’s not faltered. In fact they charge the batteries less than when they used diesel. Your negativity suggests your stuck in the past.
