Useful software. Ran it on my pc and picked up a few out of date drivers. Ran it on my son's pc and there were quite a few old drivers on there. I could see this being usefull when reinstalling everything after a clean install of Windows. Save looking for drivers....

Thanks for another great how-to, Mike and Kath! The MOBO once O.S. is operational (either Win 10 or 11) asks to install Armoury Crate (if enabled in BIOS). Not only work in TUF, it works in ROG Series. I've learned that before reinstalling an O.S. it's important to make a backup using CMD command and keep it in a safe place. Maybe you can get a surprise with several old PC's.

Wow I have been trying to find raid controller drivers missing from my Asus Strix Z690-G motherboard and could not find them on Asus website Microsoft didn't know. This drove me crazy for weeks. I talked to customer service they didn't know nothing. Snappy Driver Installer saved the day for me. Thanks
thanks for the help was using free version of driver easy to update graphic's card but snappy driver seems alot faster and better working for updating my software!

not really, unless there is something that pushes you in that direction. For older systems or brand new systems it is useful if drivers are easily found as this works on the hardware id on the components and checks against a database of all known drivers for that ID. also as this bypasses the installers for some driver packages, if you get the AMD installer failed message, this can help to remedy that
Thanks Mike for sharing. I am wondering if my drivers are correct for Win11(Upgrade) yet device manager says all good. Yesterday I watched you tube in morning with no hassle but when starting up few hours later it took ages for fans to illuminate & load screen to appear plus the delays opening tabs and connecting to school websites was horrendous. Managed to shut it down and start afresh and all running as should! Weird as never did this on Win10. From your videos I gather sometimes following windows updates the bios retrains itself and PC had updated before shutting down in the morning! Have a great weekend Mike n Kath. yeah windows 11 still has some quirks which need to be ironed out, having said that the update this week seems to have improved this quite dramatically, and even the menu seems to work and is faster

In such a case, should the more recent date or the higher version number be preferred? 2) Which is the correct startup file for Windows 11 64-bit? Of the files with "x64" in the name there are SDI_x64_R2201.exe SDI_x64_R2309.exe SDIO_x64_R749.exe SDIO_x64_R756.exe Maybe I overlooked something in your video.

Thanks for this, I've been pretty mad all day trying to figure out how to get the Intel 10g server adapter in my PC to flippin work in Windows 11. Every driver I downloaded from Intel including the exact 64 bit drivers on their stupid site wouldn't install the drivers for the card. As a last resort after failed Google searches I decided my last hope was trying UA-cam. Snappy found unsigned drivers and now the error is gone. This frankly is quite disgraceful on Intel's part. Is it any wonder I haven't bought a single Intel CPU in the past 8+ years. Shame, shame, shame. In the style of Game of Thrones! Also shame on Microsoft by doing OS upgrades that essentially create mountains of landfill for hardware that no longer works with new shinny.
i did the update, but when i check the version is still the same (old version) and then when i see on snappy driver it said already installed the newest version....how can this happened ?

When i get the Armour Crate i see any information about my PC and i dont have the tool tab, do you know whats wrong, been googling for two days. ( Do u know whats wrong ) I used the Snappy program, and it worked well... but i cant figur out how i update the rest of the pc, if u got any tips ? Grafic card driver is nvidea and work fine. i would totally go online and get the snappy driver installer, unfortunately for me i cant install any lan drivers... on a brand new asus motherboard with a fresh windows 10 build....... thanks asus.
Also does software cause pink screen,ghosting images? because one time I download updates windows updates graphic driver it cause my screen pink,ghost after I reset all, use driver booster updates no problem until august force updates (forgot turn off/delay windows updates) now my pc pink screen till now it hurts my eyes.

Hmmm I can't get most of the drivers to install on my new Windows XP install with Snappy Drivers, I get the following error.. "The procedure entry point RegDeleteTreeA could not be located in the dynamic link library ADVAPI32.dll " When i sfc /scannow in the CMD prompt I get the following message.. "windows file protection could not initiate a scan of protected system files the specifid error code 0x000006ba [The RPC server is unavailable]"
@@mikesunboxing Haha if it was only so simple.. I found the solution, using a much older version of Snappy Drivers origin worked.. The new version was trying to install a driver for a much newer system..
Is this program still safe to use? After googling it, it seems like it is no longer in the hands of the original developers and should be avoided. Just asking here to get some clarification because it’s been some time since you made this video but if it were really unsafe, I’m wondering why this video is still up. I do have an ASUS motherboard so Armory crate does come with it but people have told me to avoid that at all costs. Please let me know

Hmm, when i load the driver installer app, i don't get the Welcome screen where i get to choose the 3rd option like you. It skips it and never asks me to download indexes only. It also says "Connect to the internet to download driver packs" at the top of the screen, but i'm definitely connected to the net (i'm writing this comment after all). Any ideas?

Aye don't even know why you'd bother doing this. Just install windows 10/11 optional drivers for the device drivers with exclamation marks and download intel update utility update driver and install. If the driver installs, then it's compatible. Easy!

I've also used IOBIT Driver Booster on occasions (beware of shovelware, just say no) - its been fairly accurate, but it hates the standard SATA driver as the date is so old (win-raid . com forum has some tests and lists of "best" Intel AHCI/RAID drivers for various chipsets, and the stock SATA driver is far from awful). It's also given me a bad Bluetooth driver update for a dongle which only seems to work with just one driver
i used that many years ago and found it to be quite easy and accurate, but like i said not used it in a very long time, might revisit it and check it out

no idea sorry, i would always try the manufacturers support pages first and then if that fails use the driver installer in the video

Hesitant to use tools such as the snappy driver installer (yes the real one) I've heard that it messed up ppl's PC, that gets me spooked.

Hi, James: I'm one of them, The only driver I don't install or update (in my MOBO) is IRST. Everything works fine so far.
i have used it and it is okay, but a swine to remove from the system afterwards, but if you are staying on your hardware for a while not a big problem
