I have an Italian Vox Continental "G#" tone generator that is playing an octave too high. I cleaned it really well, replaced the bias pot, replaced the 5th and 6th divider transistors, and yet, the problem is still there. I noticed that if I replace one of the the 2200pf caps associated with the 2nd divider with a higher value (say 7000pf) that the right octave will pop in for about a minute and then the pitch will slowly drift up and octave. Could you offer any suggestions?
