I attended Cynthia's Aspen Wisdom School at the Aspen Chapel in the 90's and AM SO GRATEFUL for introducing me to the truest heart of Christianity.. I grieve for what has been lost and what Jesus really came here to demonstrate

Such a fantastic talk. I was able to experience Cynthia’s presence, compassion, wisdom and beauty in person at Nine Gates Mystery School. Profound. She’s very gifted in supporting others on their personal path. Thank you both for doing this interview!

I came to Cynthia through Thomas Keating and Richard Rohr. She consistently makes sense to me through her intellect and thoughtfulness, but especially through her spirituality and love of God and Jesus, and the truth she finds in our Christian heritage.

Wonderful interview. I guess my only question/caution/wish... let's not be so sure that an election, of which there can only ever be an either/or outcome, will make or break this both/and experiment of divine creation. Not saying it would be easy or pretty or without heartache, but the world survived round one of Donald Trump and it would survive round two. ❤

Blessings to all of you. A very good insightful conversation. I was saddened by your comments on Amercian politics, fairly glib comments that rrally requires in-depth discussion and understanding. An example would be listening to Jordan Peterson and Russell Brand listening to them with your heart as they search, trying to create clarity.

She preaches liberal spirituality, albeit meditation based. Jesus however insisted that his disciples should strive to enter only through the "narrow gate" (Mt. 7:14, 21).
Sincere truth-seekers should read Paramahansa Yogananda's spiritual classic "Autobiography of a Yogi" that gives an authentic understanding of the true nature of scientific yoga meditation. 🙏

"Jesus was an avatar" This alone shows how she does not know who Jesus the Messiah is. Sad. Philippians 2:10-11
10 so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Even CNN and MSNBC will show words from Trump’s own mouth. And it is words from his own mouth that condemns him.

From my listening Cynthia was very fair and I would say charitable in her remarks about Mr Trump. I have great difficulty understanding why anyone would defend his history of dishonesty in both the political and business worlds. How does one defend his clearly stated desires for retribution and his demeaning attitudes toward fellow citizens - as made clear by his public statements - toward anyone who disagrees with his views and desires. Why defend and/or rationalize his threats against the civil order that has served this nation so well for so long. This has nothing to do with CNN - I personally do not watch it should that be important to you - or Fox News for that matter. Mr. Trump has made his views, desires, and plans quite clear for all to hear. He has demonstrated impetuous and immature public behavior. I can understand why one might support him out of party loyalty but why defend him? Enlighten me if you can.

😊 I echo this thought to a degree. Cynthia seems to lose her broad, calm perspective (in my limited view as an Aussie) when talking about Trump. The main media here skews Trump in the same way CNN does in the US. No politician is perfect and Trump certainly has his many issues, yet he is hitting some strong chords with public opinion in the US. It does seem too, we have more war now than when Trump was in power and immigration is out of control - aren’t these things worth considering, at least acknowledging? It’s certainly disappointing that she seems to portray him as ALL BAD… aren’t we called to see beyond what we react to and maybe listen to some voices that see things from a different perspective than those we are accustomed to hearing? I wonder if her opinions will develop or remain entrenched. I notice Richard Rohr (whose teaching I greatly respect and value) also expresses similar views on Trump - but not so directly or strongly. Are we witnessing the left go too far? Love the rest of the interview though! She has a gift of expressing the inner journey and is a gentle and experienced leader in this space. Thank you Cynthia 😊
