I am so glad you are feeling much better. Congratulations on your biking! What an honor to be able to participate and team captain! All your pieces are growing. Sometimes it doesn't look like it to us as we look at our own pieces but the rest of us can see and know how many hours are in those x'S. Each one is pretty in their own way. Good luck working from home.
So sorry you were ill for awhile. Glad to see you are feeling better. A while ago I did a search for anyone doing a review of a sit on frame and found your review of the Elbesee. Well, I was finally able to find a shop owner on line that had the Elbesee sit on frame in stock. The frame was delivered yesterday. The frame came with three hoops but also came with an attachment to enable the use of my own hoops and smaller sized scroll rods. I used the frame yesterday and most of today. I love it. I was having trouble with my left arm and hand from gripping my hoop. After only one day I can feel the difference in my arm and hand not gripping my hoop. Thanks so much Lisa for your review. Love your stitching and if I might say, your British accent. I was born in the UK quite some time ago, but came to the US when I was one. Still have relatives in Swindon and Avebury and love to talk to them and listen to their wonderful British accents. So heartwarming to me. Again thank you for your review. Stay safe, stay well. Lee

Lovely video Lisa, good news about your bike ride I’m sure we will all be supporting you and your fund raising ideas sound perfect how can you say some of you may not need anything - we are cross stitchers and we always need something! I agree that our stitching is a real comfort in these troubling times, at the moment I am on my own and so miss a coffee and a chat with my daughter but hopefully we will get through this xxx
Good to see you again Lisa. Love your idea of the bike design. In my closest 'town'"Hunstanton in Norfolk ,the town is covered with brightly coloured butcher bikes with flowers in the baskets. Very pretty. Good on you for your fund raising. Love seeing your progress on your projects. Especially like the hard, she is sew beautiful. Stay safe. You should not have to be working 12 hour days. You will burn out, people can only concentrate for a certain amount of time, before your work suffers and physically and mentally you will suffer. I like you am quite 'antisocial' is not quite the word but like to do my own thing in my own time. I could never be involved with a partner, that's for sure lol. Take care x
In Sweden we are social distancing too. Both great designs I love the idea with the bike against the wall with flowers and the diffrent colored ribbon. Steam heart looks amazing
100% agree with you, Lisa. I even called a LNS about this and I was basically told "It is what it is." Well, there's a LNS I won't be visiting any time soon. I, too, have used shorter lengths, have stitched gently, avoided snags at the cost of delays in my progress. And yes, it is with a LOT of the lighter colours. Not so with the darker ones. So glad you are up and about again. These days, ANY illness is scary! I was once so sick I spent an entire week in bed. Guess who never left my side!!! My Cockapoo!! Jakie was my best friend and I'm sure if he could, he would have prepared a bowl of soup for me. LOLOL Such loyalty, right? Your stitching, as usual, is unsurpassed. Leaves a lot of room for me to catch up to you. Lisa, you take very good care of yourself and we'll chat again. Hugs (or elbow bumps) from Canada!!!

hi, i love watching your videos, been watching you for quite few years now ;) And i have same issue with some lighter dmc colours like 951, they just fray faster than others, so I use shorter lengths, and also started using bigger needle [used to used 28 on 25ct now i am using 26 :D] that helps the holes in the fabric get bigger before you pull your thread through it so the friction doesn't fray it as fast ;)
Glad you are feeling better I was sick the same way... and for 3 weeks it is truly horrible

Hi Lisa!! I know what you mean. A woman pulled a knife on a guy for toilette paper. It is ridiculous how some people are acting.I love daisy she is so sweet and she loves you so much!Love all your pieces they're coming along really nice. Don't over due and please take care of your self.

Also happy you’re alive and kicking.Every other day I went to youtube to see if you were there. I’m stitching on chatelaine the three sparkling peacocks.Busy on the second halve.Much time to stitch now due to corona. Almost 24 hrs indoors.
I started persephony because I saw it when you just bought it. Indeed lots of beads.Good to be prepared for the 4000 beads to fix on the chatelaine.
