Finished the game yesterday, already feeling nostalgic
this song is nostalgic for me bc I know it from Ну, погоди! which is cartoon with wolf and rabbit, I watched it as kid XD
Goosebumps. What an insane intro in the beginning car ride. Such an eerie choice of music, yet it fits spectacularly in this scene. The higher up you go, it really starts to set in how crazy the Soviet Union has become. Russians really know how to evoke mood.
I always was amazed by the creativity of Russian people, amazing culture and pop culture
Gives u a cosmonaut space mood, but that might be because I grew up watching nu pagadi (wolf and rabbit cartoon) where this song was played whilst I think they were in a rocket (I might be wrong). But something about the beat and melody that gives that soviet cosmonaut space vibe
LYRICS ++++++++++++++++++++++++
Once upon the time there was a painter
He had a little house and canvas
But he loved an actress
who loved flowers
He then sold his home
Sold his paintings and his shelter
And with all the money he bought
a whole sea of flowers
A million of scarlet roses
From the window you can see
The one, who is seriously in love,
transforms his life into flowers for you
A million of scarlet roses
From the window you can see
The one, who is seriously in love,
transforms his life into flowers for you
In the morning, you stand at the window
Maybe you've gone crazy
As in a continuation of a dream
The plaza is full of flowers
Your soul grows cold
What rich man is making fun by here?
But under the window, almost breathless,
the poor painter stands
A million of scarlet roses
From the window you can see
The one, who is seriously in love,
transforms his life into flowers for you
A million of scarlet roses
From the window you can see
The one, who is seriously in love,
transforms his life into flowers for you
The encounter was short
At night, the train carried her away
But in her life remained
the mad song of roses k
The painter kept living alone
Many troubles he beared
But in his life remained
the whole plaza of flowers
This song is called million scarlet roses, it is a song inspired by a story of the gorgian painter Niko Pirosmani who was said to have sold all of his possessions to buy a french woman he fell inlove with a entire field of roses, only for this to leave him alone, pennyless and to die alone in 1918 of liver failure and the spanish flu
@user-pm1cc8qr6l lmao true. Romance isn't always reciprocated or work out. But you got to accept that it inspires true depths of human emotions for generations to come. There is beauty to be found even in boundless tragedy.
I'm so glad I speak and understand Russian. The lyrics are beautiful. Even better, I remember the song from Nu Pogodi, which they also happen to have clips of in the game.
CRISPY CRITTERS
@@AnumaOnline whoever was in charge of the English translation, because that's definitely not what he says originally.
As little boy that watched Nu Pogodi 20 years back, i must say that i got nostalgia
❤, This is an old song written in 1981 and performed by singer Alla Pugacheva, many old people consider it a Russian achievement
It reminded me of the summer of 2020(1), when one morning we saw millions of blooming roses in our meadow, and we spent the whole morning there, singing this song. Those were such beautiful times.
A lot of people call this knock off bioshock. And yeah, there's a lot of knockoff in here. There's also a lot that didn't work. But one unique thing they absolutely nailed was the worldbuilding.
Thanks for posting this!!! Was trying to find this when I first heard it
No Problem! Here are the other songs from the OST also:

@@AnumaOnline these are beautiful! Do you have the soundtrack by chance that plays, it sounds like a type of synthwave that plays whenever you access the mail/intercoms in the game?(very relaxing tune) I cannot find it anywhere.
@@steventavares8144 Is this the one you mean?

Great song for a great game.
This is my favourite so far
Just wht i was looking for!!
etched in your mind and doesnt leave!
Thank you!
just liek millions of scarlet roses
Hauntingly beautiful ❤
A classic Soviet love song from the 80s
Thanks I’ve been searching for so long
This song…. Sooo much memories
Yeah its not perfect but this game was by far one of the trippiest games ive ever played. I bought it when my cat passed away to escape from reality and this game did just that. Between the flying car ride, horny refrigerator, the jello you can swim through, the dialogue between your character and his glove. All that combined with crazy action was enough to distract me from my sadness.
Literally one of the best fps games i played this year
it's our your soul has known this beautiful sweet melody
Thank you dude
This part gave me so much nostalgia and childhood memories
so lovely
crispy critters... this game is so amazing...
This is how the protagonist swears in the game in English ??? In Russian, he swears "fucking pies"
@@DVXDemetrivs translation was handled by Focus Entertainment, the Western publisher. Not surprised, considering the quality of the translation.
There is something VERY hauntingly beautiful about this song. Haunting, yet beautiful. Even if we exclude the context of the game, the song is a perfect fit for the atmosphere. It has a strong "utopia before dystopia" feel to it.
I love this music ❤️
So good. It gives me vibes of Novi fosili. Music is magic.
Miljoona, miljoona, miljoona ruusua,
Tuoksua, tuoksua, tuoksua rakkauden,
Muistoja, muistoja, muistoja tuoksut tuo;
Tunteen ja katseen ensirakkauden.
There is a finnish version of this song by Katri Helena (i didn't know it was a cover) and i had wtf moment when this song started while i was playing this game 😂👍
there is a Hungarian version from this track too, named: "Csongrádi Kata - Millió Rózsaszál" it's from 1986, i think Аlla Pugacheva's version is earlyer
Finally found it! thank you!
Finally!!
And then....the robots in combat mode! Careful major!
its.... beautiful...
This song got stuck in my head now when I shut my eyes I image myself in the sky like major is and he’s listening to this song on the radio I seriously love the game there needs to be more like this fun adventures and violence and mystery and robots and mutants and all that other stuff there needs to be more games like these I hope one day there will be.
I agree! Hopefully one day we will see a sequel!! I recommend Metro games too if you liked Atomic Heart!
Por fin!!!!!!!!!!!
I love Alla Pugacheva's music. I own all her music and when I heard some of her music in the game. I got the full soundtrack.
I love the use of popular music but from the perspective of russians. So you'd get Beethoven and other clasics that amaricans can recognize but also song that are only popular in russia.
Other people play this because of robussy
I'm play this because of nostalgic and revisit an piece of my childhood
Song is great! 🦿🦾🦿🦾🦿
Cant wait fot the gamerip version of atomic heart lots of soundtrack
Can you also post all the other “historical” Soviet songs that are in game? I saw you already posted all the original soundtrack ones
This is🔥u got my like❤
Only ogs remember this song from nu pagadi
Zehr Gut!
*Actually* good Soviet pop music - imagine my surprise when I played Atomic Heart, and researched the soundtrack.
I remember the only time i felt these kind goosebumps was when i first played Bioshock
Wolfenstein: New Order & Bioshock in one game ❤
Great project ❤
That's my favorite song 😊🎼🎵
Excepet the soviet were not a totalitarian hellscape. Americans are brainwashed
@@komarovosevastopol Yes they were, you know nothing about real history. It's you who is brainwashed, go educate on Stalin tyrant like no other.
We want this game Game of the year 2023.
😎
Been waiting ages to play this game! When I finally got to it, and hear this song, I know I am already loving it!
This beginning segment was so impressive and really raised my hopes for the game, and then the gameplay smacked those expectations down lol. Still a really good game
One of the best game like bioshock
nice
great song! first time i’ve heard of Alla was when she opposed Putin’s invasion of Ukraine and her husband was declared a “foreign agent”.
Everyone was against the conflict. No one wanted the war but it was inevitable because of the West plans to take a foot on our holly Slavic land.
Fuck NATO, Fuck USA, Fuck that fascist soul selling pig Zelensky.
Love this one, not sure why but who cares 😂
Fun fact this song tells a real story where a man falled in love and gifted 1 million flowers and he get poor and died of starvation. Thats how Rusians are we do all 100% or dont do it:)
So beautiful. Just stood around in the game and listened. Then you have idiots talking over the music and can't skip the dialogue.
This gives me Pre nuclear meltdown Chernobyl
is sounds like a Kata Csongrádi- milio milio rozsaszál
Is Granny Lady Smith the splicer from Bioshock??
Great song. No wonder Putin will not mess with her.

This is very good, but when Nora started to sing that Russian lullaby, that was literally the sickest moment in the game. I'll remember that forever.
