Even if self driving trucks took over there would still need to be someone in the seat
I'm not afraid of getting a CDL, I've had mine for 50 yrs now. What I'm afraid of is all these "Non Drivers" who will never be a driver, out on the roads, and doing some of the stupidest stuff ever seen!!
I feel ya, just got my cdl. I'm scared!!! I start orientation on the 9th. I believe i got this!!
Which Visa you took from your country for boarding flight to USA for Truck Driving Training?
planes fly themselves and can probably land and take off by themselves but who is willing to fly without a pilot?
Planes dont really fly themselfs, its like cruise controll on a truck, it doesnt work on fog heavy rain or wind, and it definitly cant land without pilot. Just fly straight in clear weather.
By the way, love the videos, I just got done with swift orientation. I passed everything just waiting for the drug test to come back.
I'm thinking of going to a cdl school but I let fear tell me I might fail. I'm stuck working at a job were I'm not to happy. I'm going to push past that fear and go for it thanks for the advice man.
I'm finna go off to swift the only thing I'm worried about the classroom part because I'm kinda slow at test but I know the pretrip
@@lenardstaten9504 Me too bro just trying to save because you don't get paid for a little swift sounds like a good starter experience company. Looking to do otr and living in the truck and stacking money
@@lenardstaten9504 That’s good. The pretrip is the hardest part of the test for most people.
Get information.
I agree with everything u said but i feel like putting people on to truking is not good, less drivers out here then better pay😂. If some one ask me tho i wont steer them the wrong way.
How do you like DSM..I'm thinking about leasing on as owner op
This company has been good so far. The money is good, especially if you do flatbed.
Where do you go to lease your truck ?
If you’re leasing a truck that you own on to a company you apply for a company hiring owners operators. If you’re trying to lease a truck that you don’t already own then you apply for a company that has a lease purchase program. Some companies have both. Do a lot of research on the companies that you’re interested in.
How can I be a truck driver and do you need a driver license to get a cdl license
Yes, you need a drivers license. After you get a drivers license and you get comfortable driving a car then you get a CDL permit. After you get your CDL permit you go to a truck driving school or company and learn how to drive a truck. This usually takes 2-3 weeks. Then you take the CDL road test and that’s it. Once you get your CDL license you could start applying for companies or you have to work with the company that trained you for a certain amount of time if they paid for your training.
Bro how did you get experience to flatbed?
Watching a ton of UA-cam videos of other flatbed drivers is how I learned how to do it. I don’t recommend it but it’s possible to learn it that way.
All facts bro. We only FEAR what we don't know.
Im about to switch careers to be a trucker. Already got my CLP permit and my DOT physical.
