- THANK YOU SO SO MUCH FOR 8k!!!!THIS IS SO AMAZING!!! IT MEANS THE WORLD TO ME THAT SO MANY PEOPLE LIKE WHAT I'M DOING…AND I'M SO THANKFUL FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT!!!! ♥︎♥︎♥︎reading your great comments every day makes me so happy and make me smile…and encourage me to do the best I can…they also give me strength when I feel I'm not good enough or when I'm not having an easy time…I don't know what I'd do without you!!! I'm so grateful I'm able to do what I love and share my passion here!!!! this video literally took forever…I had multiple break downs during editing haha…some of you may know this..I've started it when s3 aired…and then I forgot about it for a long time and when I wanted to continue my program would always break down and watching s3 made the list of reasons even longer so I decided to wait until it was over to work on again…and then finally some weeks ago when I thought about what to do for +8k it came into my mind again…it was supposed to be finished then but I reached 8k sooner then I expected haha…anyway what I wanted to say is thank you!!! thank you for EVERYTHING!!!!! ….and I really hope you like this vid…I tried to include as many reasons you told me as possible…and I mixed them with my personal ones…I really hope more people will see their potential in the future an that we'll get more barchie scenes in s4..even if they're not romantic…I mean I hope they'll be but at this point I'm happy with just anything barchie related…even if it's just about their friendship 'cause to be honest guys..what we got in s3 was a joke…I mean yeah we got some great scenes but other then that we didn't get much…they're iconic and supposed to be a huge part of riverdale but unfortunately we didn't get to see that in s3..fingers crossed for more barchie in s4…hearing/reading kj apa and RAS telling the fans about barchie possibly happening or having more scenes gives me so much hope..I probably shouldn't be this excited so I won't be disappointed in the end but hello they said that they will be explored romantically…not literally but come on…archie spending more time with betty might causing some trouble and an iconic love triangle who will be explored and which was popular in the comics…THEY HAVE TO MEAN BARCHIE…what else can they talk about here??!!!

I don't get it. The writers have ALL this ammunition to create the most sensible and soft relationship the show has ever had, but they just won't take advantage of that. Barchie has literally everything that makes a good relationship, foundation, history, care and genuine concern for one another. Healthiest for both of them too as they are the best versions of themselves when they're around each other and that's a fact. If they'd grow some balls and write what is right and not what's wanted smh.

I couldn't have said it better myself. Barchie has it all: true chemistry, major story potential, years worth of history/buildup/development, a beautiful friendship, angst and a genuine, strong connection built on trust, respect, honesty, moral support and love. They have one of the purest relationships on the show and it's a healthy and mature one that has depth, substance and longevity. If they don't end up together, then not only it wouldn't make sense it would be a HUGE travesty. Instead of the writers writing rich, meaningful and compelling character-driven stories and focusing on the premise of the show and what actually works, they are giving into fanservice and writing contrived angst/drama for the sake of the plot and has nothing to do with the show at it's core.

I love Barchie, it is undoubtedly one of the least toxic relationships and the best ship for me in this series, and I hope that in the fourth season they give us a lot of them since in the third season they did not have much time on screen

Everyone wants the switch bc it's a drama show and bughead and varchie are just so uninteresting to watch, it would finally cause some drama between the friends, also barchies slow build up is so cute.

If the writers have any sense, Barchie will happen. The actors and the (really overzealous) fans can talk how they believe Bughead and Varchie will stand the test of time but they have no true power over which direction things go at the end of the day. Varchie and Bughead (which I absolutely despise) have proven to be both unstable and toxic multiple times. Barchie by contrast has always felt warm and loving with nearly every interaction. It's like Kevin said, they may not be dating, but they are endgame. That is, if the writers are smart.

As for the actors seemingly all about Bughead and Varchie...ironically KJ seems to be the only one who supports Barchie (I don't know about Lili or the other cast members...actually I think I remember Cole mentioned way back that he supported Barchie because of the comics) and truly gets why that relationship is vital and important to the series and the comics as a whole. God bless for him for his honest intake! He's the captain of the Barchie ship lol

It’s almost funny that the canon pairings are the ones with the least amount of chemistry and literally any other possible pairings in the core four would work better.

Even before I started watching the show I saw them together in ship edits and I realized that they are perfect for each other. That they are meant to be together. I don’t understand why people ship varchie and bughead... the biggest love and the biggest chemistry in Riverdale was BARCHIE. Like... they are friends since their childhood and they are love each other but they just can’t tell because everything happened so fast.
