My favourite thing about ATEEZ is that they dabble in so many different genres (hip hop, rock/screamo, pop, R&B etc) while keeping a very distinct signature ATEEZ sound! They’re also well known for their live stages, the energy is insaaaaane even through the screen 😅

Hongjoong is the one that caught your eye with the two tone hair in Guerrilla, and he is the leader of Ateez (but I should say captain, because they have a pirate concept and Hongjoong hates being called leader, instead he prefers being called captain). He is the main rapper along with Mingi, which is the deep voiced guy upside down in Guerrilla (and now Seonghwa is officially part of the rapline too, but you'll get there once you know them better. ) I warmly recommend live performances as well, because Ateez are king performers and don't think too much about the roles in the group, because they are pretty much all rounders (of course formally there are roles, but it doesn't matter because they can do it all). Hongjoong doesn't hate being called a leader and he was called one for the first years and as he said in The Leaders "yeah I'm the leader both captain". They started to call them captain more officially bc their CEO suggested it to be more unique and on theme with their lore, and he was a bit embarassed at first but now he loves it
ateez are known for always going all out at the last 30 seconds or so of their songs, where the choreo goes absolutely insane. their choreos and live performances are stunning!!
One thing to always note with ATEEZ is that the last 30 seconds of their songs go CRAZY. Also, yes they are a very hype group but some softer songs are Turbulence, Light, Mist, Not Too Late just to name a few. I HIGHLY recommend Deja Vu, Dune, Eternal Sunshine, Fireworks, Hala Hala, and Inception. Hongjoong is the one with the split hair and he is the leader of the group. Atiny call him Captain since ATEEZ is pirate based. Jongho is the youngest and the main vocalist. He is the one that does those high notes in the song.

They debuted on October 24, 2018. Their fandom name is Atiny (combination of ateez and destiny; which is very appropriate if you know how the group was formed but that's a long story if you are interested you should watch a guide for them). All of their songs and performances are connected (at the end of their mvs they give you clips to piece it together, they also have an album version which is the diary version where they give more backstory). Their lore is truly one of the best and deepest I've ever seen. something i wanted to add is that ateez (alongside txt and stray kids) are often considered the big 3 of 4th gen kpop boy groups, but ateez may have fewer views on their mvs than you are used to seeing because they were from a really small company and slowly built their reputation up from ground zero. their debut first day sales amounted to 430, but they hit 1.1 million preorders in 2022 for guerrilla- so organic growth!

They just had a comeback in December and this January they have and still releasing "unit" group songs. The guy you mentioned you like is the Captain-Hongjoong, he is never called a "leader" but Captain. And he and Seonghwa the Oldest of the group has song called Matz and the MV is out. ateez has a producing team called edenary hongjoong and mingi (the rappers) are involved in writing on almost all songs and hongjoong is also involved in producing many, he has also written and produced for another group called xikers. As for the other members they recently got writing credits for their unit songs in the last album so all members of ateez has writing credits atm
A little info about Ateez's producing team. Eden is = a solo singer and their main producer who has produced all of their songs - he has a team which is called Edenary - the house producers of KQ. The team features: Eden, Ollounder, Leez, Buddy - these are the main producers in the team who also have invented their whole storyline! There is a video about the Fever era making and they are being interviewed about the process and it's very interesting. New members of the Edenery team - Hongjoong - since 2019, Oliv and Peperoni - from 2020, Dwayne, Neko (first woman in the team) and Maddox - from 2021, HLB is also in the team from their debut but he doen't participate in every album. Hongjoong and Mingi are always writing their own rap themselves! Hongjoong has produced some of ATEEZ's songs and all of xikers songs (KQ's new group). On their new album all of the members wrote their own songs and also Mingi has produced his song with Yunho.

Welcome on board! ATEEZ are the pirates of Kpop! They are called the kings of live performances - best stage presence, facial expressions, enery, dance, vocals. When they perform on Korean music shows all the idols are gathered back stage to watch them perform on the monitor. You should definately react to more of them. They are on the Coachella set list for this year! They are coming from a very small company with no money so everything they build is from scratch. Btw, it's just announced that ATEEZ will be one of the line up in Coachella 2024. If I'm not mistaken, they're also the first K-pop boy group to have a solo stage in this festival. If you’re looking for amazing performances ateez is THAT group for sure. As much as i’ve like kpop for 4 years now, no group has performances that particularly caught my interest a part from ateez, they’re so theatrical on stage! i suggest you their immortal songs and kingdom performances, also maybe the precious + treasure performance and inception live! also!! two of the members (hongjoong and mingi) write and produce their songs, but in their last album all member contributed to the writing!

I like you was a Stay before discovering Ateez. I was obssessed with stray kids and consumed every bit of content I could. I went to watch Stray Kids at KCON and Ateez opened the show. I was blown away. It was insane. They were such amazing live performers. Their charisma, their character, their choreo, their vocals and their hype…it made me fall in love. They are now my ultimate favourite group. Their discography is so diverse. Based off your reaction to Guerrilla and Halazia I think you would like the songs on The World Ep1 Movement album. Specifically The Ring, Sector 1 and New World. These are B sides so no music videos but all have been performed live. From a choreo perspective, and an Ateez classic would recommend Say My Name. I think you definitely should check out non music content. They have a show similar to SKZ code called Wanteez which is a good start. There is lots of fan created compilations as well. yayyy as a huge movie and tv fan, ATEEZ is my favorite group! their mv’s are very cinematic and have an ongoing storyline. you’ll enjoy getting into them. there’s a lot of good music from K-Pop to add to your playlist, just have fun with it! and yesss K-Dramas are a really good too. honestly a lot of the stuff being put out right now reminds me of how good tv was in the mid 2000’s… it’s just good entertainment all around.

My favorite thing about ATEEZ is they're always unexpected. I don't just mean from album to album or song to song - I mean within one song. They'll change up the beat or have an unexpected instrument or you'll think a drop is about to happen and instead the song changes directions. And that doesn't even include the amazing performances or how they've built an entire universe of stories into their whole discography/videography. Literally the only thing you can expect from them is they'll BRING it, 150%, every time. I'm so happy you've found them. Everyone's lives are better with ATEEZ in it :D Also, yes, ATEEZ was in Kingdom. Those are some legendary performances. And yup, they teamed up with Stray Kids and BtoB. Those team-ups are some of my absolute favorite performances ever. You just know they're all friends now.

Take your time, this Group has a lot of lore and information. They come from a small company and are basically legends to the upcoming groups in k-pop. Even though, they are young themselves. They have only been in the industry for five years and have changed the game. There's 8 members and ALL are incredible Performers, vocalists/rappers & dancers. They are called the "Standard of Performance in K-pop". There's only 1 English Speaker (he's still Korean), but the members try to learn English Notes for the Storyline: Halazia is the aftermath of Guerilla. In the song Guerilla, the song that is meant to break everyone out of the evil guys mind control, in a world where art n music arent allowed. So they literally start Guerilla Warfare& BREAK THE WALL lol. But they dont win in Guerilla n have to inspire hope again with Halazia. Letting others know that they can they can have their Hearts Awakened, Live Alive & Be the Light (or Halazia- Zia maens light) even in dark times. See their song Hala Hala. They still have a bit of the Pirate Concept thrown in (with songs like Horizon, Win, Don't Stop MV n others), but it's more modern n futuristic rebellion freedom fighters. That's all I'm gonna tease for now cause i find it fun going through the lore myself. This is for Halazia MV: Please note, the endings of their songs contain teasers or connections to the lore. Seonghwa(pronounced Song wha) The oldest- with white hair, he's a vocalist & visual, insane performer and kinda like a mom (but bullied most of the time) to the group (we love him tho 😭), he's also a lowkey rapper & a part of the demon line (you'll see, n no, no other k-pop group has a demon line). (the one that ur fave)Hongjoong (pronounced Hong Joon)- the Captain, he's the one in the room on the mic/big puffy hat rapping, he's an amazing rapper n a lowkey vocalist. Ateez & Atiny don't call him Leader. He writes, produces for Ateez and leads the group. (Short and Intense lol). Yunho (yoon-ho)- Lead Dancer (love his movements, the dark hair one with highlights in the hourglass), Performer and Vocalist (very stable even when doing choreo like wtf) (he's our big puppy and the tallest at over 6 feet). Yeosang (yoh sang)- (dark hair n darker vocals lol)hes also a Visual but also a unique Vocalist, Performer (stares into your soul like u noticed), likes to be called a doberman lol. Hongjoong n Mingi had Writing n Producing Credits, but the other members have now gotten writing credits with their EP.FIN album. K-pop is known for lots of beat switching and lots of pleasing visuals but Ateez didn't rely on visuals, especially when they first debuted (see Hala Hala Performance Video, if u haven't). They also switch up genres a lot, rock, punk, sea shantys (lol) even softer songs. Yes, they did perform n technically collab with Stray Kids in the Kingdom show, but it's kinda like a bittersweet memory, not because of the results, but because of the treatment to non- big 4 groups like SF9 n ATEEZ went through by Mnet ( the producers n creators of the show)n to this day by MAMA. Reminds me of myself when I first discovered ATEEZ, they were my entry point into KPOP and I fell in love wuth them so fast and so hard. Thank you so much for checking out our boys, I couldn't stop smiling throughout your video! I get really excited when people discover Ateez, so I apologize for this really long comment! I know other people have been recommending songs to check out, but Ateez really thrives while performing live so I thought that I would recommend different performances of theirs instead! My personal favorite is their cover of The Black Cat Nero! It's a rock cover of an electro-funk (??) song so you know it’s going to be a good time. This performance is just absolute insanity and contains (in my opinion) the best ending to any of their songs. There is a performance video of it, but I’d really recommend the live version of it so you can see them in their element. This was actually the performance that made me stan them, so I can’t help but obsess over it! Another iconic performance of theirs is Wonderland Symphony No.9! It combines pirates, sea shanties, and insane high notes/dance breaks so it's very beloved by fans. I also recommend their cover of Highway in the Gale if you want to see their vocal line show off! Ateez and Stray Kids also had three collab stages on Kingdom alongside BTOB, so I'd highly recommend those as well! Ateez is also known for being incredibly unhinged and chaotic offstage! They have a really close and fun dynamic with each other, so I highly recommend watching their reality content if you're bored and want to get to know the members more! My personal favorite is the three-episode drinking session from their reality show, Wanteez. It's a little long, but it's honestly peak Ateez. It ranges from them soulfully singing one of their most depressing songs to screaming in each other's faces. Absolutely amazing. I'd also recommend Stressor Things, where the members have to complete different puzzles within a haunted house. It goes as horrible as you think it does. Those episodes aren't technically released on UA-cam, but there's several translated compilations of it out there! To be honest, I’m only really including this part because he’s my bias wrecker and I’m not sure how many people have mentioned it, but Jongho is the one who kept hitting those insanely high notes! Not only is he the main vocalist of the group, but he’s also their maknae! He’s often regarded as one of the best male vocalists in the 4th gen of K-pop. If you want to see more of his stuff, I’d recommend his solo song from Ateez’s newest album titled Everything, the OST he did for Reborn Rich called Gravity, and his cover of So You. Once again, thank you for checking Ateez out!

somw more notes: yes they are very involved in their music! the two rappers (including your favourite haha, his name is hongjoong!) have written every single one of their raps since debut! hongjoong and mingi also do production in terms of instrumentals occasionally (hongjoong has made a handful of songs mostly by himself including aurora, precious rocky which you should check out eventually!) and all 8 of the members wrote the lyrics to their unit songs in their recent album!

what a great reaction! i'm love finding other Aussies who love Ateez!!! I'm REALLY hoping they come here on their next tour - they haven't been here since 2019! Ateez have an amazing discography and yeah, picking a favourite track is really hard, but I especially love their b-sides (Precious, Horizon, Take Me Home, Cyberpunk, Wake Up, Silver Light are my top picks). For title tracks The Real, Answer and Inception are my top 3. My bias is Seonghwa (Blonde in Halazia) but it's getting harder to just not be OT8! They've got a huge storyline, which you can follow through MV's, album trailers and other material that explains the worldbuilding and lore. KQ (ateez's company) don't copyright strike stuff from the official channel, so MV reactions and dance practices won't be a problem. Mnet make it hard for reacting to live performances but maybe they're still worth trying. As others have said, Ateez have had a really massive year and have just been announced for Coachella, so it's a perfect time to become an Atiny!!!

Definitely recommend checking their live performances! They are absolutely incredible. They have been recently on the show called Sound Bomb 360 and was revealed that show was created because producing director heard their live singing during performance and was so shocked how amazing they were! If you want to listen a calmer songs I recommend checking Turbulence (It's Live performance), Fever (It's Live performance), Be with you, Better, Sunrise, Dreamy Day (Sound Bomb performance) 😊

I literally got chills from anticipation as soon as the low bass tones of the intro to Bouncy began. And I got chills again at the end of Halazia at the exact time you said you had them! Stray Kids were also the first K-pop group to grab my attention, and I totally fell down that rabbit hole. I love them. Then after watching the Kingdom: Legendary War series, Stray Kids' heartwarming friendship with ATEEZ members made me curious about them too. Another rabbit hole! They're both amazing groups, but each unique from each other. I find myself seeking out more ATEEZ content lately. I'm sure you've figured it out by now, but the fandom of ATEEZ is called ATINY (a combination of the words ATEEZ and Destiny). And of course you know Stray Kids have STAY. HII im new to the channel and first of all im so happy you decided to check them out they are my favorite group so i always enjoy watching people discover their music also you can react to their mvs and dance practices freely without any problem of the video getting blocked :D The member that caught your eye is hongjoong! and they do participate in the making of their music, hongjoong has produced several songs for the group and him along with mingi (the other rapper) write lyrics for all of their songs and in their most recent album all members participated in writing lyrics too. Now, i feel like when introducing someone to ateez you can't forget to mention about their live performances because they are great and it's what they're most known for since they are simply amazing so i definitely recommend to watch their live performances because trust me, they are spectacular. They did participate in kingdom too but if you want to watch their performances there is a big risk of the video getting blocked so just a heads up! This was so much fun!! I'm a Kpop multistan for 7 years now and absolutely love watching people discover Kpop! I actually discovered Kpop myself through a reaction video so still love to watch them to this day. My current top obsession is Seventeen if you ever want to check them out some time. They do have a ton of members but it's crazy how you can fall in love with every one of them. Ateez is well known in kpop for being INSANE PERFORMERS so i highly recommend you to wacth their live stages cuz their singing live skills and their stage presence is INSANELY GOOD, ALSO to watch their dance practices cuz they are amazing dancers and their choreos are really amazing and intense. if you need help or curiosity dont feel afraid to ask.
My favourite thing about ATEEZ is that they dabble in so many different genres (hip hop, rock/screamo, pop, R&B etc) while keeping a very distinct signature ATEEZ sound! They’re also well known for their live stages, the energy is insaaaaane even through the screen 😅

Hongjoong is the one that caught your eye with the two tone hair in Guerrilla, and he is the leader of Ateez (but I should say captain, because they have a pirate concept and Hongjoong hates being called leader, instead he prefers being called captain). He is the main rapper along with Mingi, which is the deep voiced guy upside down in Guerrilla (and now Seonghwa is officially part of the rapline too, but you'll get there once you know them better. ) I warmly recommend live performances as well, because Ateez are king performers and don't think too much about the roles in the group, because they are pretty much all rounders (of course formally there are roles, but it doesn't matter because they can do it all). That was a great reaction, can't wait for the next step in your Ateez journey...welcome aboard the pirate ship :)
Hongjoong doesn't hate being called a leader and he was called one for the first years and as he said in The Leaders "yeah I'm the leader both captain".
They started to call them captain more officially bc their CEO suggested it to be more unique and on theme with their lore, and he was a bit embarassed at first but now he loves it
ateez are known for always going all out at the last 30 seconds or so of their songs, where the choreo goes absolutely insane. their choreos and live performances are stunning!!
One thing to always note with ATEEZ is that the last 30 seconds of their songs go CRAZY. Also, yes they are a very hype group but some softer songs are Turbulence, Light, Mist, Not Too Late just to name a few. I HIGHLY recommend Deja Vu, Dune, Eternal Sunshine, Fireworks, Hala Hala, and Inception.

okay so ATEEZ (also known as KQ Fellaz since predebut -you should check out their performance videos that went viral) is a 8-member group under KQ Entertainment (they are the first group to debut under their management & it is a very small company). They debuted on October 24, 2018. Their fandom name is Atiny (combination of ateez and destiny; which is very appropriate if you know how the group was formed but that's a long story if you are interested you should watch a guide for them). All of their songs and performances are connected (at the end of their mvs they give you clips to piece it together, they also have an album version which is the diary version where they give more backstory). Their lore is truly one of the best and deepest I've ever seen.

@nicsandnacs LEEZ & Ollounder are two of the best songwriters/ producers in the world. They also write and produce most of the tracks for the girl group Dreamcatcher, whom I hope you'll react to sometime in the near future. I have a feeling you'll love them as well.
ateez has a producing team called edenary hongjoong and mingi (the rappers) are involved in writing on almost all songs and hongjoong is also involved in producing many, he has also written and produced for another group called xikers. As for the other members they recently got writing credits for their unit songs in the last album so all members of ateez has writing credits atm
A little info about Ateez's producing team.
Eden is = a solo singer and their main producer who has produced all of their songs - he has a team which is called Edenary - the house producers of KQ.
The team features: Eden, Ollounder, Leez, Buddy - these are the main producers in the team who also have invented their whole storyline! There is a video about the Fever era making and they are being interviewed about the process and it's very interesting.
New members of the Edenery team - Hongjoong - since 2019, Oliv and Peperoni - from 2020, Dwayne, Neko (first woman in the team) and Maddox - from 2021, HLB is also in the team from their debut but he doen't participate in every album.
Hongjoong and Mingi are always writing their own rap themselves!
Hongjoong has produced some of ATEEZ's songs and all of xikers songs (KQ's new group). On their new album all of the members wrote their own songs and also Mingi has produced his song with Yunho.

I've been listening to K-pop for so many years, and there was a time that i stop following K-pop cuz there's nothing interesting me anymore tbh. But ATEEZ brought me back to K-pop circle again, and i can say that there's no one like them. Now they're one of my most favourite groups of all time next to my kings BIGBANG.
Btw, it's just announced that ATEEZ will be one of the line up in Coachella 2024. If I'm not mistaken, they're also the first K-pop boy group to have a solo stage in this festival. As an ATINY (ATEEZ fandom name), I couldn't be more proud than this ❤

If you’re looking for amazing performances ateez is THAT group for sure. As much as i’ve like kpop for 4 years now, no group has performances that particularly caught my interest a part from ateez, they’re so theatrical on stage! i suggest you their immortal songs and kingdom performances, also maybe the precious + treasure performance and inception live!

The dance practice for halazia is my favorite. It's SO FRICKEN GOOD. I'm so happy you enjoyed ateez, I love them so so so much. They have softer title tracks too, mostly b sides though. I like you was a Stay before discovering Ateez. I was obssessed with stray kids and consumed every bit of content I could. I went to watch Stray Kids at KCON and Ateez opened the show. I was blown away. It was insane. They were such amazing live performers. Their charisma, their character, their choreo, their vocals and their hype…it made me fall in love. They are now my ultimate favourite group. Their discography is so diverse.
Based off your reaction to Guerrilla and Halazia I think you would like the songs on The World Ep1 Movement album. Specifically The Ring, Sector 1 and New World. These are B sides so no music videos but all have been performed live.
From a choreo perspective, and an Ateez classic would recommend Say My Name.

yayyy as a huge movie and tv fan, ATEEZ is my favorite group! their mv’s are very cinematic and have an ongoing storyline. you’ll enjoy getting into them. there’s a lot of good music from K-Pop to add to your playlist, just have fun with it! and yesss K-Dramas are a really good too. honestly a lot of the stuff being put out right now reminds me of how good tv was in the mid 2000’s… it’s just good entertainment all around.

Though im a girl group girlie, ateez, stray kids and seventeen are my token boy groups, their choreo, style and concepts are everything to me. They debuted on October 24, 2018 with double title track "Pirate King" and "Treasure". The fandom is called Atiny (Ateez+destiny). I really recommend you go through all their discography 'cause it is flawless, absolutely no skips. Their versatility is amazing , there's a huge variety of genres, styles and concepts. Absolutely the dance practices are a must see. Recommendations: Crazy form, Turbulence, Hala-Hala and Inception.

My favorite thing about ATEEZ is they're always unexpected. I don't just mean from album to album or song to song - I mean within one song. They'll change up the beat or have an unexpected instrument or you'll think a drop is about to happen and instead the song changes directions. And that doesn't even include the amazing performances or how they've built an entire universe of stories into their whole discography/videography.
Literally the only thing you can expect from them is they'll BRING it, 150%, every time. I'm so happy you've found them. Everyone's lives are better with ATEEZ in it :D
Also, yes, ATEEZ was in Kingdom. Those are some legendary performances. And yup, they teamed up with Stray Kids and BtoB. Those team-ups are some of my absolute favorite performances ever. You just know they're all friends now.

They come from a small company and are basically legends to the upcoming groups in k-pop. Even though, they are young themselves. They have only been in the industry for five years and have changed the game.
There's 8 members and ALL are incredible Performers, vocalists/rappers & dancers. They are called the "Standard of Performance in K-pop". There's only 1 English Speaker (he's still Korean), but the members try to learn English
Notes for the Storyline: Halazia is the aftermath of Guerilla. In the song Guerilla, the song that is meant to break everyone out of the evil guys mind control, in a world where art n music arent allowed. So they literally start Guerilla Warfare& BREAK THE WALL lol. But they dont win in Guerilla n have to inspire hope again with Halazia. Letting others know that they can they can have their Hearts Awakened, Live Alive & Be the Light (or Halazia- Zia maens light) even in dark times. See their song Hala Hala.
They still have a bit of the Pirate Concept thrown in (with songs like Horizon, Win, Don't Stop MV n others), but it's more modern n futuristic rebellion freedom fighters. That's all I'm gonna tease for now cause i find it fun going through the lore myself.

They have a ton of music. Note that their albums are cut into Episodes or EPs. Right now, they have completed the World Series with their last World Ep.Fin. Hongjoong n Mingi had Writing n Producing Credits, but the other members have now gotten writing credits with their EP.FIN album. Their choreographing team are like brother to them, BBTRIPPIN choreographs for them and performs with them.
Our fandom is call Atiny, which is a combination of Ateez and Destiny.

K-pop is known for lots of beat switching and lots of pleasing visuals but Ateez didn't rely on visuals, especially when they first debuted (see Hala Hala Performance Video, if u haven't). They also switch up genres a lot, rock, punk, sea shantys (lol) even softer songs. Yes, they did perform n technically collab with Stray Kids in the Kingdom show, but it's kinda like a bittersweet memory, not because of the results, but because of the treatment to non- big 4 groups like SF9 n ATEEZ went through by Mnet ( the producers n creators of the show)n to this day by MAMA.

I know other people have been recommending songs to check out, but Ateez really thrives while performing live so I thought that I would recommend different performances of theirs instead! My personal favorite is their cover of The Black Cat Nero! It's a rock cover of an electro-funk (??) song so you know it’s going to be a good time. This performance is just absolute insanity and contains (in my opinion) the best ending to any of their songs. There is a performance video of it, but I’d really recommend the live version of it so you can see them in their element. This was actually the performance that made me stan them, so I can’t help but obsess over it! Another iconic performance of theirs is Wonderland Symphony No.9! It combines pirates, sea shanties, and insane high notes/dance breaks so it's very beloved by fans. I also recommend their cover of Highway in the Gale if you want to see their vocal line show off! Ateez and Stray Kids also had three collab stages on Kingdom alongside BTOB, so I'd highly recommend those as well!
Ateez is also known for being incredibly unhinged and chaotic offstage! They have a really close and fun dynamic with each other, so I highly recommend watching their reality content if you're bored and want to get to know the members more! My personal favorite is the three-episode drinking session from their reality show, Wanteez. It's a little long, but it's honestly peak Ateez. It ranges from them soulfully singing one of their most depressing songs to screaming in each other's faces. Absolutely amazing. I'd also recommend Stressor Things, where the members have to complete different puzzles within a haunted house. It goes as horrible as you think it does. Those episodes aren't technically released on UA-cam, but there's several translated compilations of it out there!
To be honest, I’m only really including this part because he’s my bias wrecker and I’m not sure how many people have mentioned it, but Jongho is the one who kept hitting those insanely high notes! Not only is he the main vocalist of the group, but he’s also their maknae! He’s often regarded as one of the best male vocalists in the 4th gen of K-pop. If you want to see more of his stuff, I’d recommend his solo song from Ateez’s newest album titled Everything, the OST he did for Reborn Rich called Gravity, and his cover of So You. somw more notes: yes they are very involved in their music! the two rappers (including your favourite haha, his name is hongjoong!) have written every single one of their raps since debut! hongjoong and mingi also do production in terms of instrumentals occasionally (hongjoong has made a handful of songs mostly by himself including aurora, precious rocky which you should check out eventually!) and all 8 of the members wrote the lyrics to their unit songs in their recent album!

what a great reaction! i'm love finding other Aussies who love Ateez!!! I'm REALLY hoping they come here on their next tour - they haven't been here since 2019! Ateez have an amazing discography and yeah, picking a favourite track is really hard, but I especially love their b-sides (Precious, Horizon, Take Me Home, Cyberpunk, Wake Up, Silver Light are my top picks). For title tracks The Real, Answer and Inception are my top 3. My bias is Seonghwa (Blonde in Halazia) but it's getting harder to just not be OT8!
They've got a huge storyline, which you can follow through MV's, album trailers and other material that explains the worldbuilding and lore. KQ (ateez's company) don't copyright strike stuff from the official channel, so MV reactions and dance practices won't be a problem. Mnet make it hard for reacting to live performances but maybe they're still worth trying.
As others have said, Ateez have had a really massive year and have just been announced for Coachella, so it's a perfect time to become an Atiny!!!

You must bias leaders (you mentioned Chan) because you picked out ATEEZ's captain, Hongjoong (and he is very involved in the music production). Yes, ATEEZ was on Kingdom! I'd recommend Say My Name and Crazy Form, two of my favs.
Definitely recommend checking their live performances! They are absolutely incredible. They have been recently on the show called Sound Bomb 360 and was revealed that show was created because producing director heard their live singing during performance and was so shocked how amazing they were! If you want to listen a calmer songs I recommend checking Turbulence (It's Live performance), Fever (It's Live performance), Be with you, Better, Sunrise, Dreamy Day (Sound Bomb performance) 😊

I literally got chills from anticipation as soon as the low bass tones of the intro to Bouncy began. And I got chills again at the end of Halazia at the exact time you said you had them!
Stray Kids were also the first K-pop group to grab my attention, and I totally fell down that rabbit hole. I love them. Then after watching the Kingdom: Legendary War series, Stray Kids' heartwarming friendship with ATEEZ members made me curious about them too. Another rabbit hole! They're both amazing groups, but each unique from each other. I find myself seeking out more ATEEZ content lately. I'm sure you've figured it out by now, but the fandom of ATEEZ is called ATINY (a combination of the words ATEEZ and Destiny). And of course you know Stray Kids have STAY. So those of us that stan both groups call ourselves STAYTINY. 💖 One of my favorite compilation videos featuring the two groups interacting is titled "StrayTEEZ are besties, StayTiny are married. A dance crew called BB Trippin does a lot of ATEEZ's choreography, and it's truly amazing. As for other ATEEZ songs, I think you'd love The Real (Heung Version), Hala Hala, Say My Name, and of course their title track from their newest comeback, Crazy Form, is really good. Obviously they have so many other songs you'd like too, but these are a good start. The member that caught your eye is hongjoong! and they do participate in the making of their music, hongjoong has produced several songs for the group and him along with mingi (the other rapper) write lyrics for all of their songs and in their most recent album all members participated in writing lyrics too.
Now, i feel like when introducing someone to ateez you can't forget to mention about their live performances because they are great and it's what they're most known for since they are simply amazing so i definitely recommend to watch their live performances because trust me, they are spectacular. They did participate in kingdom too but if you want to watch their performances there is a big risk of the video getting blocked so just a heads up!

By the way, the one that you mentioned in the first and second MV at the front that you liked is called Hongjoong, and he is the Captain of the group as they base it around pirates then there is Seonghwa who is the oldest then Yunho is next then Yeosang is after that and then San and then Mingi and then Wooyoung and finally it is Jongho the youngest and the one that can hit the high notes

This was so much fun!! I'm a Kpop multistan for 7 years now and absolutely love watching people discover Kpop! I actually discovered Kpop myself through a reaction video so still love to watch them to this day. My current top obsession is Seventeen if you ever want to check them out some time. They do have a ton of members but it's crazy how you can fall in love with every one of them. They are best known for their amazing choreo and syncro and also for being one of the funniest and most attractive groups
