What kind of glue do you recommend when putting kits together?
These sort of kits usually come with a glue that dries quickly but is still very flexible when dry. Ones I've come across are like kids glues called Siligum. Hope this helps

Super glue.. cyanoacrylate
It’s not super glue. I’m putting together one of these kits and I’m using silicone glue which looks exactly the same as what is used in the video. If you look closely at any place in the video where glue is visible you can see that it looks kind of goopy. Super glue does not act that way. It’s very, very watery. This person is also able to move pieces a bit to get them where they need to be and super glue dries much too quickly for that.
I used this polystyrene adhesive from a japanese store called daiso, it is goopy and tacky, a bit sticky but i think is better than super glue as i can still adjust it before it gets dry..also it is transparent and it glues neatly for dust covers
