- I think the first time I ever had to use a guide to find boxes in a Crash Bandicoot level was for the boxes in the tire stacks here. Now, they're no longer there, but the hidden gem is there instead.
Btw, I'm still playing this with a keyboard, which is far from optimal, so my playing may seem a little careful and sloppy. I'll get a controller up and running before I get to the harder levels. Also, the game is really not running smoothly, as I'm experiencing some minor hiccups.

I just want to say thank you for all the years of Crash videos you've given us. Your walkthroughs are the reason why I initially picked up Crash games and continue to play them to this day. I'm glad you're still doing it all these years later.

Same here. As much as I will defend the vanilla version of this game, I will say that that particular instance of hidden crates was a touch too far. Ditto for the crates at the very start of Run it Bayou.
Run It Bayou was just terrible game design.
How the living F### did anyone think that was OK?!?!
It's the player's responsibility to search everywhere for boxes

@@greatsageclok-roo9013 I wouldn't go as far to say it was "terrible game design", but those crates were definitely far too well-hidden for anyone to find without looking it up. The rest of the level I actually quite like.

But also the hidden gem on that level.
Just... did the person who make this level have previous experience with modding Crash Bandicoot levels? (At least in the early days of it.)
You can actually just see the hidden gem.
Before you had no idea the crates were there.
