I was always very disappointed that in this Jesus movie, they don't show the scene of the soldiers driving the nails into him. they only show a Roman soldier grabbing the nails and a hammer then it skips ahead to Jesus already hanging there

Yup, Jesus was innocent. He was never a rebel not have an attempt to overthrow emperor tiberius nor a threat to the Roman Empire.
Maybe he was a threat for the pharisees because of the possibility of how they may lose their followers in judaism.
I just hope Caiphas was forgiven by Jesus after all that he has done 🙄
