Good morning. I enjoyed your review. In my opinion we shouldn' t buy palettes just to comlete a selection of a specific brand. We should stick to whatever colourstory we like. I understand the way a selector's mind work, so i think that the only way to avoid buying a palette in order to complete a selection is to think that you do not select them. You just buy things you think you will use. After all this is the real value of our make up. To use it as match as we can!
Love my Zoeva large palettes, never tried their quads. Also, love my Nomads even more. The Fire & Ice was sadly discontinued, it is one of the palettes that I actually liked the blues of. I think Viseart is focusing on the Étendu sized ones. Love my petit pros for travelling. I do own one LH palette, it's the 30's inspired palette, very warm toned with good quality, but something I have many times over.
I have just a few palettes, preferring to use ey3 shadow sticks instead. The few I do have are either neutrals or way out funky colors (See Makep Revolution Beetoejuice palettes.) As for future series, I like watching and learning how others put on their makeup. Perhaps a series of different eye looks or cheeks, lips, etc?
Hi Maaike I have never had the collection or sets mentality fortunately 😂. The vast majority of palettes are too warm for me and I know that so I avoid them. It's the reason I never bought an ABH palette despite the hype and I have been watching beauty UA-cam for over a decade. The LH cosmetics is still hovering on my wishlist actually as I think it is a pretty colour story, but the price has so far put me off tbh. I do own a Zoeva quad (I bought on sale) and it's really good quality, but the smoky quad is khaki toned so everything is very warm in the line (even the grey looking one is actually khaki with a champagne). That's just not a daily colour for me and wasn't what I thought I was buying. I really like the Viseart formula but didn't buy any of the three shown as I knew they weren't colours for my skin tone. I did buy the Paris etoile and like it well enough. I do try to buy things I know I will get use from over and over - even though it means having a smaller amount. Best wishes x
I have Nomad Fire & Ice. I love it. That’s where my most unique shades are. My eyes can look green, grey or blue. It does a lot for me. I really hate the yellow and orange matte but I get it’s for the theme. As much as I love it I’m not sure I’d repurchase if I could. I’m just a neutral lover and I don’t wear that very much and I honestly would not repurchase most of my makeup. They are still doing this size but this one is retired.

Visear Petit Pro 3 still one of my all time favourites. It's my almost perfect travel palette.

Very true if you're an average consumer, but for someone on YT it is pretty much expected to own full collections of things.

@FloatinginDreams true, they need to be a dark navy or the muted grey blues like in the Fire and Ice.

I have plenty of videos up already where I do my makeup and a full 101 shorts series with different makeup techniques I like to use.

They sometimes do sales on Lyko which is how I decided to buy the LH. It may be worth keeping an eye out for.

Yes that's exactly how I feel too. Many pretty shades but not enough to really create many different looks.
