You asked (and waited patiently) for a lesson and handout of my watercolor Folk Art Trees inspired by UK based illustrator, Eloise Renouf.
A few years ago, I introduced my students to sketchbooks. It was a fun experience having them take ownership on the contents and to see how they chose to fill their books. One of the lessons we did were these watercolor folk art trees.
This simple project really hit home for many teachers (maybe you?) so finally, we expanded on this lesson to create a handout and a video!
