'11 Years of East Midlands Trains' HST 43050 & 43081 on the Midland Main Line - 16/08/19

Video: The East Midlands Trains '11 Years of East Midlands Trains' tribute livery seen on the HST power cars 43050 & 43081 at Leicester, Kettering and Wellingborough stations on the Midland Main Line. This livery was applied on the HST (and the doors of a Class 153 which I did not see) to pay tribute to the 11+ years of the Stagecoach East Midlands Trains franchise which has come to an end as of 17th August 2019, to be taken over by the Abellio East Midlands Railway (EMR) franchise. Both trains ran on special staff charter services to celebrate the occasion.
This new franchise will see drastic changes in the East Midlands fleet (particularly the intercity fleet) with the introduction of new Class 80X AT300s, Class 180 Adelantes (from Hull Trains) and Class 360 Desiros (from Greater Anglia), all set to replace the Class 43 HSTs & Class 222 Meridians.
