Just for anyone looking to buy this. Its great, have it for my FJ Cruiser. FJ back door swings to the left, so this was a perfect choice.
But be warned, "holds 4 bikes" can be deceiving. I tried 4 adult mens bike (2 XS, 1 S, 1 M) and it doesnt fit. So its not a fully guaranteed 4 bike fit.
Would u say 2S and 1M could fit?
I was able to fit 2 L and 1 XS... there was little space too. So I'm thinking it would fit your 2 S and 1 M.

Nope... it'll fit adult bikes fine. But kids bike might need a tube adapter.
Two issues of this for NZer: it swings to the right which is traffic flow in NZ, seem length is too short for 4 adult bikes
I cannot get my Fullswing to come off the hitch. I think the silver piece on the front left of the hitch piece had separated or gotten loose from the knob so it’s not disengagingz. Any ideas on how to re-engage it to the knob or lock??
Is the protection mechanism enough? The lock does look like a bit thin. Could someone cut it?
Just bought one and mine didn’t come with a wrench / bottle opener. Just a basic wrench. What the heck?!
That first step looks easy but that silver triangle tab is not in place. How do I fix that?
Hi there,
The speed knob should be somewhat tightened and when inserting the tongue, push down on the wedge if need be so you can insert into the hitch.
We bought the full swing bike rack...disappointed that it came with a regular wrench and not the wrench/bottle opener.
Same here... could've really used a nice cold one while installing my rack

Yes, you can swing it out with bikes loaded!
