The property taxes on this building have gone from $223K in 2020 to $276K in 2024. The building is obviously losing money, or the owner would not have let it go into foreclosure. So, the gov't cut from each tenant is $170/month on property taxes alone.
Legal help is not going to help the 100 plus tenants find the safe housing they need tomorrow. The city, county and state either needs to provide immediate housing and moving services, or take over the property completely. They waited too long to respond
