Yeah, it's kind of a meme now to blame Ellum, but you really nailed a solid story and stuck to it convincingly. It also didn't help crew that 5up seemingly was a bit random before the snitch reveal, so, going in blind, he came off as grasping at straws while you were consistent.

Like DK on a bad day is still a tier above average ellum at figuring out who the killer is. People meme on steve but he's usually paying absolutely no attention at all and still votes two tiers better than Ellum (and steve when he's paying attention is about as good as Janet or Kara who I think are generally considered barely under Hafu/5up/Dumbdog).
22:55 can’t remember the last time an Among Us game had a 5minute “debrief” to talk about what just happened! Epic game!
Everyone was saying 5up got Skadj out so why wouldn't Ellum trust him.. but Ellum called out Skadj before 5up since he saw the kill. And in the previous round 5up seemed to randomly accuse 2 totally different people. In Ellum's eyes 5up hadn't brought any info to prove he was snitch.
IMO this was a perfect combination of luck and skill from Koji! Not an Ellum throw.

cold take, every lobby needs to have an Ellum. if everyone is Hafu, 5UP or DumbDog the game is too competitive and not fun, Ellum allowing these plays to exist just makes the lobby so much more fun!
The chaos factors in the lobby are what makes it so evergreen to watch. Ellum, DK, Steve, Koji, a little bit Junk. Combine that with smart cookies like Court, DumbDog, 5up, Gumi, etc, and you get great games and great laughs
I'll play Devil's Advocate here and say Ellum's dumbness is a bit too much. I think every lobby needs to have a DK for the unexpected chaos but Ellum is just SO bad. Like really bad. 😂
@@WolfPhoenix0I have to disagree with you because DK's trolling annoys me so much more when he gets in those moods of "vote me I don't care", whereas Ellum's enthusiasm is far more entertaining (we don't often see his good plays, but he has some *really* good ones; he's pretty good at the "deception" part of the game, but not super great at the "investigation" part). I think DK is generally wholesome in general, but when he seriously gets in his "I don't care anymore" moods, especially fairly early in stream, it feels like a mood dampener a lot.
Gave 5up time to speak but never Ellum time to think. Perfect! 😆

I think Ellum did feel bad at the end so I'm the glad everyone was a bit nice afterwards after they calmed down a bit. Nice work on the win though, that was a crazy game

can i just say that i love how everyone in this lobby acknowledges the importance of not just what you say in this game but also how you say it? ive seen so many other among us lobbies where this same situation just turns into shouting and name calling, and while yes, ellum does get some name calling in jest, everyone seems to be good at recognizing that it was koji's speaking that won him that game. especially from 5up, who i think was very mature in recognizing how he could have acted differently in that last meeting
Ellum made the right choice here. 5up threw by going into specimen, all he had to do was get killed by Koji and then Koji would have been voted out.

I usually don't agree with 5up, but I 100% agree with him here. Logically, if Ellum takes a second and thinks it through, it only makes sense for 5up to be good, but because Koji talked so so so well, he was able to sway him, and I feel like he deserved the win based on that. I just imagine Koji talking that well and then losing because Ellum votes correctly, and I think everyone would be very much congratulating Ellum and commending Koji. It wouldn't be a "Well, duh" situation.

He had another plan in mind (sabo reactor and kill 2, then guess Kara).
Then when sabo got fixed Dumbdog was gonna button and 5up would've reveal it was him anyway so he just killed.
Ellum's holding the gun and doesn't know who to shoot, between 5up frothing at the mouth and the blood-covered Koji who was with him for most of the game. 😂 Really well played!! Poor Ellum might need a moment

This is hands down the best among us video I've ever seen. It's the best game I've ever seen or have been a part of. You won vs a snitch as imposter during the meeting. You actually played like a genius madman the entire game! The vouch on round 1. The walk from electrical on the final round. Ugh. So good! It all worked so well in your favor!
Also, you never know what to expect from a koji video because you post both wins and losses. I love that about you man!

Ellum didn't do badly, Koji talked his way through the meeting like a boss and 5up antagonized him a bit, and ultimately he had to make a choice, so don't worry Ellum, you make the right choice plenty of time and it's good to be wrong sometimes for great content❤
Edit : I realized it could be taken the wrong way so I wish to clarify, when I say that 5up antagonized him is because of the meeting when he says he's gonna laugh if Ellum ends up voting wrong, he wasn't mean and it was really sweet of him, Hafu and DK to make sure that Ellum was good❤
Ellum really shouldn’t take this to heart. I would have voted 5up every time here too. The only thing that may have swayed me would’ve been 5up calling out the meeting he said why you button, but with some expert disruption from koji it was really easy to miss and the unfortunate circumstances of skadj being called out by ellum before 5up revealed as snitch making it seem like 5up desperately grasping on to known info and the prior 5up sus and koji round 1 clear just stacked the evidence against him

LOL I was melting down watching this. First for Koji even bothering to look at the map when the only thing he needed to do was keep track of 5up, then for Skadj, for some reason, killing someone and creating a body for someone to report rather than *also* chasing after the snitch lol.
And then the 1 million IQ play by Koji to pretend that he was the snitch and 5up was chasing him lol. I can't even blame Ellum for that one. Koji sold it SO well.

Love (hate) how Skadj was saying he was mad at Koji for calling comms on 7 as they could have killed 2 on reactor then he guessed Kara (around 18:30). Like how was Koji supposed to know that I think he expects you to have some sort of omniscience 😭😭 If anything he was the one who made the bad move when he killed on 7 when there was also a snitch and in front of someone.
Ellum was headed to the button. If he didn't kill then then Dumbdog is alive at the meeting, and they lose the game.

to be fair from Ellum's perspective it was at least 50/50
he is not going to remember who accused who and who died. He will only remember what happened around him in the game and listen to how people talk so its not simple to get it right
My favorite Koji games are the ones where he straight-up forgets his role halfway through

I really hope that Ellum doesn't let it get to him. He has great vibes and his presence makes the game more fun, like yeah he is clueless sometimes, but what matters is the chemistry he has with other players and not whether he's the best player in the world. He saw Skadj kill and said it in the meeting before 5up said anything, so from his perspective 5up knowing that Skadj is the killer proves nothing.
After that it is just he says vs he says situation and Koji was 'cleared' first round because he was with Ellum.
By your logic, 5up claiming Snitch was completely meaningless to Ellum then? Now I just feel bad for 5up.

@@WolfPhoenix0 To be fair, Skadj also said to vote Koji out after he killed Kara in the meeting, just shortly after Koji said that 5up had been the one chasing him. From a crewmate point of view, when the confirmed killer is backing the alleged snitch who's been sussed previous rounds by the person who just died, you'd think it was a play from the imps to get another crewmate out for the win. And you can't turn the accusation or call "just vote Ellum out" because Ellum is the Mayor and can tie or overturn the votes. Skadj saying "vote Koji" helped Koji's play a lot too.

Ellum needs to not blame himself for that ending; 5up's detective work wasn't so great in the midgame and you really did outperform him in the endgame there. It really could have gone either way. Especially knowing now how close DumbDog was to winning as well. Plus, you really earned your chance with the Hafu kill and getting to Specimen during the Comms sabo in the first round. An amazing game and so great that the other players really seemed to appreciate your win too. As I said, I hope Ellum can look at this as you outtalking 5up and not as his screwup

It wasn't a throw by Skadj at all. If Koji had killed anyone that round, Skadj would have killed Kara in the meeting and they would have won right then. He had no way of knowing if Koji killed or not and knew he could at least take 2 people with him. It was literally the best play from his POV.
