Feels like they made orange sand/sandstone specifically to compliment regular sand/sandstone; the colours are just so perfect together, and acacia wood just enhances it.
Imma just use Oak Wood and other Basic stuff now it’s the opposite of the house Built in da video But. PLAIN (Biome) HOUSE
Miss these little build videos. Wish more content creators did this sort of thing.

Such a unique approach to building! The way that he DOESN’T separate exterior from interior allows the two to blend together in a really nice way!

I like how you specified the issue being that you would have to get acacia logs and completely ignore the fact the red sand/sandstone is wayyyyyyy more rare lol

@@csx42 you can only find it in a Mesa/badlands. A one think layer and no natural sandstone. Only renewable source is the wandering trader who sells 32 sand at a time lol.
Did you ever tried fencegates under the ceiling? In this house situation maybe an overhang on the back supported by acasia gates.
Definitely useful, because I'm actually living in a stronghold that spawned in a savanna village with a desert really close by. And plenty of acacia trees.

This is a small suggestion, from a bedrock player who cannot install shaders: I love your builds, except, I can neither obtain shaders nor optifine. If you could possibly, give a tour without shaders or optifine, it does not need to be a long one just a quick pan over the build.
You should make your house in your survival world
Also a tip: not going to lie, I feel like u should do scripted things more (I personally love both unscripted and scripted) but it seems like u were growing way more during scripted building things. So ye hope that is helpful!
