Dont know if anyone gives a shit but if you are stoned like me during the covid times you can watch all of the new series on Instaflixxer. Have been binge watching with my brother these days :)
You did a great job making this pedal sound musical. Because it is so extreme I think it was easy to write it off as a gimmick, but used in the right way I think it certainly has some interesting creative applications. It has a hefty price tag though for something that would only be used sparingly. Great demo Pete.
Best part of this is 1:00, when you tap the momentary switch and smile to the camera. You cannot hide the joy you are gettin from this pedal. I'm just a wee lad from Scoland who is currently spending a wee week in Nashville, I visited Third Man Records today and it was that same joy that made me buy the Plasma coil pedal, I own the original version of the pedal but the extra features of the coil take it to the next level. Also, Nashville is awesome!! Went to Carter Vintage guitars and had the joy of playing a lovely 62 gibson parlour acoustic, also met Angelo Petraglia in the shop, what a gentleman he was.
I think we can all see you had fun with this one :O) Like several other people who have posted, I'm not really a fan of fuzz, but in this case, I have to say, I'm teetering on the brink! It's certainly unique, and yeah, that spark in a box is cool.
One of the lyrics from the first song of mine that got radio play here in Canada was, "Had 15,000 volts, pumped through my corpse." That's what I'd fear happening with that crazy fekking pedal! That was a KILLER track at the intro by the way.
That's a bad ass song you came up with. I'm ready to hear that one done into a full track. There's a lot of things I'd like to hear through that too. Vocals, strings, whatnot.
The fuzz side sounds like a standard Tone Bender circuit and the "Voltage" knob, while making you think it's "increasing to 3500 volts", in reality is a bias knob cutting power as you turn it up. My EH Cock Fight will do the same sounds.
Search here for (Sucker For a Pretty Face) by RockCandy, it's a great under rated 80s album!! Also search here for (Sinful Demo Album 1985) it features Jose Anes before RockCandy and Nuno Bettencourt before Extreme!!! Enjoy
I've been really interested in what someone can do with this pedal! Really diggin' how you used it...brutal, crazy for sure! Just don't play in the rain! LOL
Do not believe what an advertisement says. To generate the arc that is seen in the bulb, high voltage is needed (at a rate of 1000 volts per millimeter is what is needed in the open air). But this has nothing to do with the distortion sound! It is absolutely ridiculous to believe that the signal is amplified to that level, when the signal level accepted by the pedals / amps is a few millivolts. It's just advertising for subjectable people. (it is cool, but a lie)
This is like the most unique piece of music that you have put out to date--strong Physical Graffiti vibe. Jimmy Page would be proud.
Yep, I got the JP vibe from this, too!
WAHHHHHH! Plasma Pete is now one of my favorite superheroes!
Yep, I need it.
It’s pretty rad! Very noisy in the good noises way

@Prince Ronald Definitely, have been watching on instaflixxer for months myself :D

"It's alive......It's ALIVE!"
LOL that was the first thought that went through my mind. Henry Frankenstein would have been right at home with it.
Only Pete can get music out of a beast like that..
Well how about Jack White
That's is such a fitting song for that pedal... You nailed it!!!!

Thanks for making this video. This really helped me understand what the switches were for.
Best demo I have seen for this pedal
Most accurate torn speaker sim i have ever heard. Nails the Kinks sound.
THAT IS INSANE CLIPPING!!!!!!
I f*ck'in LOVE this!!!
this is way outside the box....sweet demo!!
Absolutely loved this track. Way to knock it out of the park yet again, Pete!
Hey thanks!
Loved the tune and the guitar work here! ❤️
great demo as per usual. Although I'm not a huge fan of super fuzzy tones, this box is very unique and i dig the originality.
What a fun pedal. Awesome playing Very creative amazing tones
Love it, it’s completely crazy but that heavy fuzz with extreme noise gate is a great mix
Proceless face at the beginning…. 😂😂, Pete!! Again something else.
Ride the lighting 🤘🏽
That’s crazy and you’re crazy great!!
That demo was a game-changer!
Musician Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Pete tames the Plasma drive! Nice one, man! Great little ditty, deserves some development, I reckon!

0:32 me after a night of too much chili and beer.
Pete didn't give you a heart for that one. Sheeeeeit.
Hahaha I feel your pain bro!
this pedal is so fucking awesome, as is the song you wrote for this. seriously, truly awesome
Crazy. Obviously you had a lot of fun - the dive bomb breakdowns are hilarious! Nice to see the non-Suhr weirdo guitars in your collection as well.
Hey man! Thanks. Ya the little Supro is fun!
Love the intro . So much talent 👏
This pedal sounds like it belongs on every Wolfmother album
This is awesome. Looks like you we’re having a lot of fun with this one, lol.
You looked like you had a lot of fun playing this pedal!
Amazing video!
Pete in Man Cave. Demoing new gear......happy zone achieved. ✌️👌🙃😎🎸☕️

Wow...how times have changed...I’m old school like you Pete, great demo...as usual...A+
Thanks for doing this. Great demo.
Great and inspiring demo Pete !
That is one gnarly sounding pedal!
love the lower fart bounds
Oh hell yes.
Not my style of sound, but DAMN, Pete. Sounds great in your hands, brother!
Awesome as usual, and the video production is also looking pretty sharp these days too!
Wow, you actually made a tune with that. No small feat. Nice job.
This is what you’ll see and hear moments before the angry AI, crowd control robots of the future vaporise you.
I'd love to hear the intro to "girl u want" by DEVO through that thing!
Looks like someone was having fun.
You're right, this isn't for the faint of heart!
I need this in my life!!!!!
That is really cool !!
killer tune, as always!
fucking awesome
"We can't stop here - this is bat country!"
Cool track pete!!!!
It sounds terrific, but i wish that the low octaves sounds more clean and defined
I can see Matt Bellamy of MUSE using this to DETH!! Kinda Farts out like The STRANGE MASTER treble boost.. Great Demo Pete!
Awesome pedal
I love the tune! Badass, dude.
Very QOTSA .
PT should really be a rock star in a famous band.
That part at 00:30 reminded me of Dumb and Dumber with the turbo lax on the clogged toilet lol! 🤣
Nice pedal with a terribly funny intro 👍🏼
That's a bad ass song you came up with. I'm ready to hear that one done into a full track.
There's a lot of things I'd like to hear through that too. Vocals, strings, whatnot.
It has been said before but these demo songs are just a joy to watch. You should publish them for library music Pete, for film and t.v. etc.
Thank u!
Hahaha...dude I fuckin loved this demo.
Kinda like PT meets VAI circa Flex-Able
I really need this
Even Miku in his hands will sound great... 😁
Great demo Pete, That thing sounds like a truck! Awesome!
a hit tune again
Jack white in a box 😂
He does own third man records
😂😂
LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!
Scary awesome stuff...
Have a little fun with this one did you Pete? Couldn’t quite tell... lol... awesome!
sounds very interesting I like it

Your guitars 👌
A for effort, Pete. Dig the Tesla coil. Too bad it doesn't give Frank Hannon tones haha..
insane!
Don’t care from the pedal but the tune rocked.
It's Marty McFly's DeLorean pedal:)
Great demo as usual! DeWolff's guitar player uses one and they kick ass!
Some crazy shit, but you made it work. Fuzz pedals are like sci-fi to me. I can't take big doses of that sound, makes my brain itchy LOL.

i have one of the first gen ones. might have to save up for this ine too!
I've been really interested in what someone can do with this pedal! Really diggin' how you used it...brutal, crazy for sure! Just don't play in the rain! LOL
And works great with a standard 9v battery... for about 2.5 seconds.
I just don’t know I didn’t try ha ha
Can I use it whit my midi controller ?
Sick riff! Make it into a tune.
Nice 👍
Too bad your JamTrack and and lot of your music is not available in the French Apple Music...
Anyone know what kind of guitar the white one is?
ok here goes the 9th guy trying this out in 3 weeks. too many testers not enough buyers.
Doom Soundtrack, right there xD
how did you get it to oscillate down at 3:44 ??
this pedal should be called the DIARRHEA FART FUZZ.A sound you can actually see and smell.
Amazing! Do you sweat creativity?
Aw thanks man. It’s just my fun zone, guitars/tones/writing
Seems like a one hit wonder pedal
New QTSA song LMAO
Dude Your intro deserved it
