Q&A WITH CASTING ASSOCIATE BRENDAN WILCOCKS, CSA, CDC - e411 - EP 16

Brendan has been immersed in Theatre, Film and Television for over 10 years, with much of his work being in casting. He graduated from Brock University with a BA in Film Studies before pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Advanced Filmmaking from Fanshawe College.
Following graduation, Brendan moved to Toronto to enter the industry as an intern for Stephanie Gorin. Over the years, he has learned the casting ropes, and risen the ranks to Casting Associate. In his spare time, he has also been a PA, an Assistant Director, and provided support to many who were looking to start a career as an actor, agent, or crew member.
He has worked on numerous projects over the years for companies such as Netflix, Apple TV+, Amazon, Disney, as well as several theatre shows for Mirvish Productions. Brendan is a proud member of both the Casting Society of America (CSA) and the Casting Director's Society of Canada (CDC).

Farid Yazdani is a Canadian actor best known for his role as Oscar Wallace in the upcoming series Moonshine (2021). Farid has also appeared in Suits (2011), Titans (2018), The Boys (2019) and more. He won Best Short at the Canadian Comedy Award in 2018 for his original pilot, Day Players (2024), of which he is the creator and series lead. Day Players (2024) is being developed into a series set to release in late 2024. Farid is a recipient of the 2023 Reelworld Trailblazer award.
