of course she does, she's Punjabi. Punjabi has several dialects.

it is a deviated dialect form. sometimes seeming unclear. watch her interview with Harbajhaan Maan and Guggy, she has to use some effort to speak like them, and when they asked her to speak native, some things needed clarification .So i guess to make it simpler he used a neutral language. There is no one prouder than Gurdaas of punjaab, but both stumbling to comprehend eachother wouldn't help the audience. Lol

Sikhs however have a hard time understanding Potohari etc since they are not exposed to that (damn partition) its not that hard, can be mastered in a week.
