Gosh! This why I love recurve archery.
'It's very difficult to put a value on how absolutely ludicrous that is.' (Sjef van den Berg in baffled admiration over a previous overall performance of the Korean team)

Lesson that, team players don't stand too close to their Archer in a cruel match for encouraging. That may be pressure instead of boosting.

it depends, these teams are usually pretty open with each other about what makes them comfortable or uncomfortable. If he was uncomfortable with it, he would have definitely told them about it.

@@RisingBboyNeXuS really. At the end is most painful. They left him after the last shot without appreciation even he got silver. They ignored that his opponent is Kim wo Jin.

@@user-pt1mc2zm1f the thing is we really don’t know unless we were there, but being part of national programs and teams (here in the US at least) I would communicate what I want from my team whenever they were supporting me. I would tell them what I’d like them to do and what wouldn’t really work with me. I would assume it’s the same for Tang, especially since they’re together a lot for training and traveling.

@@user-pt1mc2zm1f that’s completely true, but I’m not talking about what the individual archer needs to do on the line, just generally saying what they would coordinate with their team about support.

4:03 the screaming every time someone walks to the line has to stop. It’s getting out of hand.
