it depends, these teams are usually pretty open with each other about what makes them comfortable or uncomfortable. If he was uncomfortable with it, he would have definitely told them about it.

@@മനനംചെയ്യാം the thing is we really don’t know unless we were there, but being part of national programs and teams (here in the US at least) I would communicate what I want from my team whenever they were supporting me. I would tell them what I’d like them to do and what wouldn’t really work with me. I would assume it’s the same for Tang, especially since they’re together a lot for training and traveling.
