A couple years ago I had a band with my friends. We had been practicing our songs for a year and even had one of the local bars/clubs lined up whenever we ready to perform. Even had a local record label guy who was interested in the idea of our band. But it got thrown up into the air and went downhill. All our hard work down the fucking drain and that was a good 3 or 4 years ago. We had our songs almost down pat but then people started fucking around and covid hit - it felt like a dream had been ripped from underneath my feet. The band was called Stark Rite - which made sense in terms of the reading because a curse was mentioned. And stark rite is basically about a dark ritual. It was supposed to be a witch punk band but there was a lot of chaotic energy from parties and immaturity and growing up that added the poison I think to the pot. I've been army crawling along my own music and art path but depression, ADHD (+ possible autism), and BPD make life difficult. One of my friends recently started a managing /photography /and videography business and has been setting up local shows. I've been hella antisocial this year but he told me the other day he wants to help me sell my merch, promote my music. We haven't talked much about it but I'm typing this up to speak it to the universe. I already got my dream of being accepted into grad school this fall. Pile 3. I have my endometriosis surgery scheduled in the next few weeks. I’ve been struggling with menstrual pain since middle school. I’m 32 now and finally have met a doctor that took me seriously. This pain has worn me out. I started getting severe bloating and increased pain about three years ago and it has gotten even worse over the last 6 months where it has impacted my mobility and every area of my life. I had no idea it could be this painful. I was at my wits end and then I started seeing a shamanic practitioner last year and she helped me so much so far. We’ve worked hard on breaking patterns over the last bit. Now I have the medical system taking care of me too. I have a feeling after my excision surgery I’m going to have my life back finally. 🙏
