Ay Nat I’m in karate now, and I just want say you are an amazing UA-camr never stop the videos cause they are awesome and your tips, this is what got me into karate so thank you man I really appreciate you bro. Btw the stretches are actually improving flexibility cuz I started doing them everyday like a week ago so these stretches work. Just Thank you bro
Thank you for all of the tips and explanation you put into this video and I highly appreciated it. For what I do before getting into a middle split therefore I started off by doing some small stretching drills including side lunges, frog stretch and then proceeding into a middle split and once I did those warm up drills then the result successfully manifests very quickly. Good luck to everybody else who have high vibrational frequency of intent to become flexible too.
Favorite kick: Roundhouse kick. It's consistent throughout most martial arts and it's extremely versatile. Side bar: Consistency is the biggest factor in progress. Please do not try to adhere to a "New Year's Resolution." You should be able to progress and work on yourself because there is an outcome that you desire. Trying to hold yourself accountable can be difficult. Trying to maintain some "resolution" is even more difficult. Never try to better yourself or change yourself to meet a deadline, for others, or as a challenge. You should be the best you at any time, and only for you.
What I realized is; the more discomfort you go through today, the easier it will be tomorrow. You get flexible pretty easy imo, you just have to go through the pain.
Dope to see the progress. My favorite kick to look at is the 540 but I can’t do it yet. At the moment the spinning hook is probably the one I most enjoy performing.
Pretty nice to see the progress in such a small amount of time! Personally, it helps a lot if I don't tense up my face and start thinking of something else, specially if you're listening to a podcast because that makes you forget the pain, works pretty well. Have you made any Shorts on the switch kick?
Nicely done. I was honestly shock and kept saying to myself “How is he still holding that kick!?” I might give it a try. Also my favorite kick is the Side Kick.
Interesting. I could do the box splits in my 20s. Now I'm 49 and seriously not flexible, but my kicks are OK. I tried about 2 years ago to get back in the splits by stretching every night. I got more flexible, but nowhere near where I used to be. I lost heart, gave up and now my flexibility is back to beginner level 😅
Im very happy now because I finally Found a really good Stretching Programme thanks Nat.🔥 And my favourite kick is the question Mark kick. I think its really cool but Im gonna learn the spinning hook kick as soon as i can. Thanks Nat for everything I wouldnt be soo good in karate without you 🔥💪
As a kid one of my favorite kicks was the Ushiro Mawashi Geri. Was easily able to do it as a kid at head level, now that I lost my flexibility as an adult, can't do it no more at head level. Belly level now. 😂
I hope you’ve come up with other video ideas in the shower 😂 Great improvement on your stretching I’m loving the long style videos ❤ let’s get to 1 million Also roundhouse is my favourite kick
Just picked up your program and finished week 1. I'm pretty inflexible, with my current side split only being about 90°, maybe a tad more. About what week in the program should I hope to see marked improvement? I am stretching for higher kiks, but also just to have leg mobility that makes me not feel like an old man. I know the sets get longer and there's more of them further into the program, so I was curious if there's any real gains seen in the first few weeks.
I honestly wish I could do some kind of martial art training like taekwondo but my parents would never let me so I really enjoy watching these videos, time to try to improve my flexibility
When Nat is in the shower thinking about do a video, I'm in the shower thinking about what happened throughout the day , what to cook later, what to eat , chicken nuggets , chips , instant noodles , soup , Oatmeal Chips, milk tea ❤🤤🤤🤣 ( Nat's recent videos are rich in content 😎👍)
Can you make a video on how to increase your stamina and endurance when it comes to sparring or fighting in general? I love sparring but my stamina tends to give out quickly and I’m not sure what type of workout I should do to increase stamina. Not sure if I should shadow box more or go jogging more? Also my favorite kick is the jump Kicks
Pretty decent progress for just 2 weeks but if I'm being 100% honest the progress on the splits was actually exaggerated due to the angle of view in relation to the wall behind you. In the first photo you were closer to the wall which made you look higher while in the second you were farther away which made you look lower. There was actually pretty decent progress but I've decided to be an ass and point out some measuring mistakes in the progress. Also in the side kick chamber the visible level of pain was much lower in the first shot so I honestly think you could've done 45 seconds (but that still shows a 15 second improvment!). Keep up the good work inspiring us to keep pushing ourselves in the new year though.
Not accusing you of anything bro... just pointing out how important accuracy is for measuring progress especially for more advanced athletes as progress tends to become very slow
Nat is amazing 👏👏 Seeing your expression is very hard 😰, that sidekick is so hard , I can only hold it for 10 seconds, because I have left thigh cramps every time, and I give up after 10 seconds 😩
Yeah its true you needs 14 to 15 days to be flexible or less than it... Because I was use to go karate classes so my master was so strict and use to beat student with sticks if they are not doing streching properly... And I was a blacklisted guy @ 1st position in his list😂.. so after taking lot of hits i was able to strech in 20 days
His program is great and terrible at the same time. Well worth the $10 for a 12 week program and you will get better flexibility as well as improvement on your kicks. However side splits for 4 sets of 1:30 is absolutely brutal.
I enrolled to teakwondo in November end in December before any holidays start but im still stretching like I'm about to go to a tournament the funny thing is that I haven't enrolled again for teakwondo this month I'm still broke so I'mma save some cash for that
i started streching seriously in august 2022 and now no offense but I AM SURPRISED, i am better than you (at flexibility) i am not very confortamble with the split but i think i need better balance, can you do more videos about balance in high kicks/kicks?
Sad but needed information : Strechs only works when done very often. Otherwise, your body won't adapt. I recommand the video from Major Mouvement about stretchs and mobility, unfortunately it's french.
congrats man as martial artist we must embrace and marry something called PAIN. if you're not in pain everyday you're not becoming stronger or more flexible etc we must get to the point that we don't even grimace when we feel pain during training because though we feel it we choose to marry her to death do us apart. she is the key to the doors of greatness being unlocked.
It actually works.I only trained flexibility everyday for a month and now my legs are flying.
what kind of training did you do?
YOU CAN FLY?!?!?
@@flow7628 yo I stretch like bruce lee
@@Savillozz yes
i did too and i agree that flying is possible with flexibility

Yep definitely, can also be a good incentive to set a New Year’s resolution though, gives people a date that they have to start bettering themself👍
Favorite kick is the back kick because i scored a lot of ko's with this kick
Nice!👍👍
You are really a wonderful person. I wish you good health. I have been following you for a long time. Your content is very beautiful. Keep going
What I realized is; the more discomfort you go through today, the easier it will be tomorrow.
