Its been a fair while since I've filmed at Wolverton station so decided to head down there for an hour or so on a breezy Saturday afternoon and see what was about. A lot has changed over the years such as the new fence, dividing the slow & fast lines platforms which makes it actually quite difficult to film without it getting in the way. I did open the gates and go onto the fast line platforms for a few shots in this video.
INCLUDES: Avanti West Coast Pendolino's & Voyagers, London North Western 350's, GBRF 66763 & 66752 and Freightliner 66503 & 66956.
I did try to get a few different shots from all platforms at Wolverton.

The first train you sore was a Pendolino train with no black bits around the windows whisky the other pendos did have the black . It's also a bit strange 😬

I'm still trying to adjust to seeing the WCML with no red everywhere! Hasn't been that was since BR blue gave way to Intercity and NSE back in the 80s!

I’ve seen the new livery avanti west coast pendolino
Pretty odd to see 390s without their trademark virgin red.
Owen Chua It is because FirstGroup and Trenitalia (which formed Avanti West Coast) took over the WMCL.
Avanti need to Livery up there trains there's no need for unbranded Pendalino's now that Avanti have the right to them
390155 is one of the pendolino that’s got the new livery mate
Reason why it's not in full, livery cause they are Iva lazy or there waiting for new things for it there is a new one 390 123 I saw it come in Sandwell and dudly

MLG Lucas the voyagers will not be getting the new livery. The pendolinos will all have it within a couple of months

Luka Mitrovic They aren’t. The voyagers will be phased out so they will probably just get a logo but not a full repaint.
Not sure the voyagers will as they're being replaced in a few years.

So how long will it be before Avanti or Aventra or whatever they're called make some sign of stamping their identity on things, or will they not do anything and leave everything until the franchise is revoked due to financial failings, which is what usually seems to happen these days?
They have on some trains.
They have only had the franchise for a month, give them time

It’s a shame the ‘base’ coat is a grey. Even white would’ve looked better.
