- Nehru left a legacy behind that has since been subject to admiration and attack. Recently he has been a 'favorite target of disinformation' in politics of India. This why Neera Chandoke believes that today Nehru is more important than ever. Even if social media is full of his disinformation his contribution to shaping the Republic of India and deepening the democracy of India is remembered by many. We have traced briefly his life history which showcases how he emerged as a paramount national leader during the freedom struggle.
His idea of socialism was free from the utopia. There is no doubt why scholars like Williard Range call him 'A Practical Idealist'. The greatest challenge his idea has to face was of Secularism. We have covered in detail each of his important ideas like socialism, secularism, national unity, parliamentary democracy, and Industrialisation.

In the Wikipedia it's given that he completed his education in England. No where is it given that he went to the U.S to complete his education. By the way if I am wrong plz tell me how? It's not done to undermine your teaching knowledge. Becoz I am getting confused. He must have gone to the U.S in the later years that is after he established himself as a prominent leader. By the way you never talked about Nehru as an internationalist that includes NAM.
