@nicknickk Regarding your "moron" comment, Porsche is making a 918 Spyder Hybrid estimated at 78 MPG, and BMW created the Vision Hybrid concept estimated at 62 MPG with M3 performance. Lexus in a couple of months will be selling a 42 MPG hatchback. There will be other examples.
LoL I guess it's a funny video. 18/25 MPG ... I wonder if it's a keeper? I like this roadster version - 2 seater - it's foolproof! But ... I have old SLK and I can fit a really big folding bike in the trunk. Also nowadays with technology finally moving forward, I want a 40-60 MPG sportscar as a keeper.
Wait... it's his show? Why does it have the CNET logo on the bottom left then? Anyway, if this is CNET's video, this is disappointing. He doesn't say anything about the important tech points of the car, except the synchro rev match system, he has no idea why the button in the back is there (when it is obviously because this car uses an RF key fob - it wouldn't just "be there"), and being a tech guy; reviewing the non-nav version of the car doesn't make any sense.
Interior looked and felt cheap when I sat in one. I'm now leaning towards the 2011 mustang gt. 420hp and the interior feels nicer and has a better fit and finish.
Sigh ... 350Z is not worth to be compare to 370Z ... I would compare 370Z to a car like BMW Z4, Porsche Boxster S, or Honda S2000. No offence to 350Z owners ... sorry.
this guy is missing the point of buying a rwd sports cabrio with 245kw v6 motor .trust me its not to listen to a fiddle with some tech hard drive.you does the car feel to drive the sound of v6 exhaust note.acceleration feel harshness of suspension.car related issue.mention where it stands in comparison to competitors.and mention value for money.
I hear ya, Sheppy...I've seen a ton of vids of Jeremy Clarkson and his "mates" on Top Gear rip apart American made cars...Hell, he even ripped the Nissan 350Z when it came out in '03, saying it was made for Americans who want a sofa on wheels (I had an '05 Z and disagree). BUT at least he is funny and makes you laugh...Sorry but this CNET guy reminds me of a really BAD & corny comedian whose jokes no one finds funny in a comedy club...He'd be better off reviewing iPhones or other tech stuff IMO
Not one of the best reviews. Not even close. Doesn't compare other cars in price range, performance, or even drive the car remotely hard.. which is where it excels. Idiot's big complaint was opening the trunk. I have a 370. You press the right button & the trunk pops open. Soooo difficult.
"... and pry that son of a bitch open!"
I literally laughed out loud at that.
they couldn't have found a better presenter. This guy not only matches the energy of the car, he keeps me laughing :D
this is one of the best reviews
great informative and entertaining review!
yes the fabric top does make the car looks cheap but it retracts much faster than hard top like 10secs to hard top's 20secs.
Ya i agree it did not make much sense why he complained about that, its very easy to use i like the two button system.

this guy should be on top gear america
@carywat In personal opinion you think the roadster with the top up can go as fast as the coupe? or would it be slightly slower?
such an awesome an useful review
You mean looks-wise? Agree. But the soft tops are lighter than the hard tops.
Good review
Cnet has to review what is given to them.....what can they do if companies send them cars without all the tech goodies?
@techboy2009 .. lol agreed... awesome review
can you put down the top while moving?

have you guys seen the new 2012 mazda mx5 miata ?
You do know cnet is a tech site right...not car site?
now i know how to truly open a trunk, using a crowbar
Traditionally, the extra bracing that's needs to reinforce the car once the top is gone causes it to way more.
Oh, right. Too bad. I like convertibles, but I guess that's the trade off.
"A joke where the trunk should be"

@geniegogo And how much do you think they will cost?? 918 spyder? lol try thousands and thousands more than a Zee!
@MrErickpj english?
yeah and you drive a 78mpg 0.8 litre nerdmobile?
Your in a Z. Who gives a flying **** about the nav unit. IT"S A SPORTS CAR! Drive the damn car!

Best no to give a gps to a donkey you never want to see again.

soft top ruins any car
When it lost its roof it lost its looks
BMW is more expensive and not as good as the (Coupe) 370Z.. From a drivers car perspective.
Damn this guy is funny... lol
Agreed!! He's a deplorable excuse for a human being....super nerdy and lame,
LOL ... did someone take the bait?
>> watch?v=CLGygbCr3sg
Someone looks like used tissue.
Annoying commentary. Dumb showing all the driving in bad weather
i have one..he is a bad review person!!
The coupe is ugly
