These tips are simply awesome! I used the steer technique that Tom was explaining and it worked like a charm. I watch this video over and over again so that I can pick up details that I might have missed previously. Thank you Bernardo and Tom!!!!!

I never aspired to be a half guard guy but I ended up finding myself there so much I've learned to love it and now I aspire to be a feared and dangerous half guard guy. I also love these kind of "positional" videos rather than just showing a move

Thx guys, i do 95 percent no gi, but this is probably one of the best halfguard videos I've ever seen. Im really explosive and strong, but have short and unflexable legs, so halfguard is a lot more comfortable for me, but yeah Its crazy, that im getting so much from this gi video.

Love me some half guard. A lot of my partners always tell me to push away. I don't like that I enjoy doing into deep half. Now i know i was on to something. Great video, will give me stuff to work on.

4.54min - That's interesting Tom. In the same position, you gave me an idea to use my right arm to push into their arm pit and post on your left arm to come up for a possible sweep. Will give it a go and see how it goes.

I love my bjj and no GI classes. But I prefer to challenge the boys more then the girls so I can control my strength and aggression as I'm a very aggressive rough person and to be gentle and placid I am finding it difficult to be placid.
I enjoy both but no GI more as I able to slip out faster.
