Dad: “Do you guys want to hear an awesome dragon story?”
Kids: “Yay!”
Once there was a dragon that prayed upon the land.
It spewed a river of fire and had talons on its hand.
The villagers they cowered in fear, scared for their lives.
The mighty beast could- not be stopped, he had iron scales for his hide.

Daughter: “Dad this sounds a bit scary.”
Son: “Yah, it’s scary.”
Dad: “It’s not that scary, just listen.
No where to turn,
No where to run,
Their backs were against the wall.
Their houses would burn,

The final curtain call.

Out of the coal and ashes came,
a boy who took a stand.
Daughter: “Dad stop. Why is it just a little boy?
I want it to be a girl in the story too. Can you please add a little girl also?”
Dad: “Sure kiddo.”
Bleak were the odds against the girl and boy.
The dragon spied morsels set to destroy.
The kids had super powers that were buried deep inside.
And filled with rage and vengeance, this challenge they would divide.

The boy had super speed,
Son: “I don’t want super speed!”
The girl had super strength,
Daughter: “I don’t want super strength!”
Dad: “Guys I don’t know what you want me to do. I can’t finish the story if you keep interrupting.”
Daughter: “We will stop interrupting if you make the story more awesome.”
Son: “Yay, way more awesome!”
The girl could turn everything she touched, into ice and stone.
Dad: “We good?”
Daughter: “Bingo”
The boy was strong and could create the mightiest of cyclones.
Dad: “You good dude?”
Son: “Continue Rocking.”
The dragon crashed down with the mightiest attack.
The boy used his super strength and flung him on his back.

Daughter: “Why’d you stop?”
Dad: “I thought you were going to interrupt.”
Son: “You’re finally doing a good job, don't stop now.”
Held in the sky by the power of the wind.
The boy he approached confidence within.
He ran around the dragon and shot a cyclone.
The mighty beast was suddenly thrown.
The girl she yelled, “I need to get close to the beast.
I need to touch its hide for my powers to unleash.
She reached out her hand and touched the dragon twice.
First he turned to stone, and then next he turned to ice!

The boy picked up the dragon and hurled it to the sea.
Lost forever in the abyss, the town’s people were free!
And that’s the end of the dragon story,
The boy and girl they got their glory…………
Daughter: “I like what you did with the end.”
Son: “Me too.”
Dad: “Are you ready for sleep?”
Daughter: “No I think we need one more story.”
Son: “But make the next one a little more awesome!
