Great video Brent! Bet it really smoothed out the ride! Very impressive! Thanks for sharing! Have a great and awesome day!
Thank you Vincent and as always thanks for the continued support!
Appreciate the video. This helped me break the tie... adding the zglides to the 960M. Feels like this should be stock on ZTM's.
that was definitely one of the best torture test videos I've seen of the ZGlide, but I was hoping you would review the mowed grass areas to see if there was any difference in cut quality with the front end bouncing around like that.
Good point. I should have done this. Thank you for the feed back and thanks for watching!
I got this for my grandpa for crismas and he loves it. Itwas always so rough on the bumps on his new mower he wanted a more comfortable ride.
Awesome! I am glad to hear that he is happy with it. Thanks for watching!
Took my run flats off my 930 put air filled in helped alot
Interesting, I usually hear that the tweels have the better ride quality and I tend to agree. Glad you found what works better for you. Thanks for watching!
@@WesternEquipment …I’m pretty sure Shane was referring to the run flat caster wheels and not the rear. Figured I would throw that out there so others wouldn’t get confused.
Z's at first I thought yea ok I've seen these before and welp...BUT man did you change my mind about em @ 2:45 holy man them things really do absorb! Also the music was a great pick!
Yeah they really do work great! Thanks for watching and I am glad you enjoyed the music!
The video about the gx345 is coming out Monday!!!
Edit: I am your #1 fan!!
Awesome! Keep me posted and as always thanks for watching buddy!
Sweet 😁 I saw those at expo 3 or 4 years ago we might get a pair 😁
They are awesome! Thanks for watching!
great vid brother
Thank you and thanks for watching!
Nice video 👍!
Thank you and thanks for watching!
Excellent video man. Very surprised on just how damn difficult it is to confirm if the z glides ( obviously by allowing alittle front end flex compensating for slightly uneven terrain therefore I assume helping to KEEP traction not add any that wasn't there before) do indeed help when side hilling and just straight up cutting hills? I know zero turns aren't recommended for hills but we all do them anyways lol
My father has quite a lot of finish cut land to mow with his 720a John Deere. It does alright but from what I can find the guys with genuine knowledge and experience love the z glides and I am assuming the would infact help when cutting the grades since she'd be able to keep the rear tires in proper contact.
Gaining a bit better ride but the gained consistent traction would be increase confidence and capability therefore decreasing entire cutting time. Also help with those beautiful "tire drags/burns" that cannot always be predicted lol
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
This is a really good question. I have not tested them on slope, but after this comment I may have to do so. Stay tuned, thanks for the feedback, and thanks for watching!
That's really cool
I agree, they are awesome. Thanks for watching!
Can you make a video on how to level the deck on a John Deere z720e mower
As soon as we get some inventory on these mowers I definitely will. Be looking for it on our “How-To” channel 247Parts. Thanks for watching!
I’m toasted rn and have no use for a zero turn but I want one now
Haha cheers and thanks for watching!
Can you make a video on lubricant the spindle and axle and what kind of lubricant is needed thank you
I will try to do this soon. I have had a couple of requests for this now. Thank you and thanks for watching!
@@WesternEquipment Thanks. I just bought the SD lube but wasn’t sure if I needed the HD. Lube.
Cut quality is what matters the most. Exmark and Scag have the best cut in my opinion.
I totally agree about cut quality and I believe everyone is in title to their opinion. Thank you for watching!
I’ve got the Z720E and would love to have these. Their fitment guide list is a bit confusing so I can’t tell if they have any that would fit my model.
The 720 model was and is made to basically be a full-on top shelf commercial mower, identical frame, cutting deck but with smaller engine and same bullet proof hydro pumps but a bit smaller and machines top speed is alittle slower. The smaller cc pumps are the reason they actually out pace a bigger mower with say 13 or 14cc pumps even with say a 26hp engine going up hills.
In short it's the same exact spindles from 720 to the 900 series.
Currently they do not make the for the new Z700 series but I am hoping they will be coming soon. Thanks for watching!
Same
How do you like your 720e? I'm almost at a year and pushing 25 hours, probably half the hours are from pulling a little trailer for firewood and moving junk over the winter. Thing is a beast
@@Will-tm5bj I like it a lot. I’ve owned it just over a year and have about 55 hours on it so far. I mow a few 1+ acre lots in my neighborhood plus my own. My only real complaint is the mulch kit I had put on is disappointing. It has a lever over the deck that is supposed to allow you to throw grass out of the side or mulch and it’s completely seized. Not sure if I got a bad product but the build quality and performance of this mower is super impressive.
Try running the mower over those pipes at night with the blades engaged. It will make a great spark show!
Haha! Great idea! Thanks for watching!
Wish they still made these for the turf tigers
Hmmm this is something I’m not familiar with.
I see they make them for z500 series but a 515E is not on the list. Is there a difference as to why or why not?
They changed up the fork design just a bit in 2021, so I'm sure an updated ZGlide will be available soon for the new models. Thanks for watching!
As a guy who mows lawns professionally. I’m concerned about consistency in cut height. How do these affect that?
Same here. You know when it moves it's affecting the cutting height
Hopefully this spring a can get out on some good grass to demonstrate this. Good question and thanks for watching!
@@WesternEquipment on regular, rough ground mine seem to do really well as far as cutting height. They really suck doing fast turn arounds. Especially on a side hill. Great for flat work if you slow down. ( Just my experience)
Every suspension Zero turn with suspension up front (or back) would do the same. Deck floats from frame, wheels absorb and cut could be effected. Enough to notice ?
Hello! Not a ZT mower but is there anything out there that can improve the ride quality on a JD X758 ?
Main thing on a tractor style mower would be adjusting tire pressure and maybe extra suspension on your seat. I hope this helps and thanks for watching!
So how does this compare with Ferris in ride quality in rough terrain?
Too be honest I have never driven a Ferris so I am not sure. I will have to go do some mower scouting this spring so I can answer more questions like this. Thanks for the idea and thanks for watching!
So did it help? It wasnt much of a review lol, just a video of it compressing. I always appreciate your videos. I have a Z530R and a crappy yard with lots of dips and very interested in these but not sure if it would actually help the ride.
Yes, it very much does help the ride. One thing to look for in this is video is how still the deck sits as the ZGlides are giving. Thanks for watching!
I’ve got a Kubota kommander Z421 What warranty comes with them and much are they?
You mean warranty on the ZGlides?
Do they make them for the stand on mower's
Not that I know of, but this is a good idea. Thanks for watching!
Have you tried to get an LX188 yet? And if not do you think you can try on getting one so i can see your guyses opinions on it?
This would be a hard one to find since this mower is now well over 20 years old. Maybe if we can get our hands on one for cheap we can do another flip. Thanks for watching!
@@WesternEquipment Thanks! And i will be looking for the video! Thanks for replying
@@WesternEquipment Where are you guys located? I’m going to try to look for one.
@@WesternEquipment There is a lx188
Is the price about $ 130 to $ 170 for each side left front then add for the right side ? thanks Fred
The price you see will be the price for a set. Is that what you are asking?
I would be interested will they fit my Z345R
They do make them to fit the Z300's. We are working on getting some in stock so keep checking 247Parts.com and we should have them on there soon. Thanks for watching!
@@WesternEquipment I'm not seeing them could you send me a link, or can I sign up to get an email when they are available
Do you have any that would compatible with a Ryobi 48-Volt Brushless 54 in. 115 Ah Battery Electric Riding Zero Turn Mower? Thanks!
Hmmm. I am not sure on this one. I would check out zglidesuspension.com/ and get in contact with them to see if they have anything in their product line.
@@WesternEquipment Will do. Thanks
Are these available only for the commercial line?
No, they are also available for the Z300's and Z500's. They don't make them yet for your Z740R unfortunately, but I'm hoping they will soon. Thanks for watching!
@@WesternEquipment Well that's a bummer! Hopefully soon
Is it an actual spring or is it rubber? I'd hope it's a spring rubber doesn't sound like it last very long
I think it is an industrial grade rubber, like most heavy duty torsion axles use, but I will have to check and make sure.
I chiseled marks in mine, and put white paint in the marks to see them working while mowing. Was hard to see all black.
Were you pleased with what you saw?
For sure, I can see them move, and tell if Im absorbing in the front or bouncing in the rear. All black, was hard to tell if the tweels were working or the zglides.
Will these fit z375r ?
Yes, there are Z300 compatible options! Good question and thanks for watching!
My lawncare man has them.
Nice! They are a good feature to add to your mower. Thanks for watching!
They make them for a toro z I have two of them
What do you think of them? And thanks for watching!
how 2 test ur mower just run over some round pipe..lol lucky 4 me i dont need 2 as my front yard has a side walk thats all broken up.. lol
Turned out to make a pretty good test haha. Thanks for watching!
@@WesternEquipment ur welcome :)
You didn't show the ride difference with the two different wheel mountings. 🧐
Looking back now, I wish we would have done this. Maybe I will do this on another model soon. Thanks for watching!
Hi western equipment :)
Hey buddy! Thanks for watching!
Any for 740r ?
Not yet, but I am sure they are working on them. Good question and thanks for watching!
@@WesternEquipment I know the front tweels fit both 7 & 9 series
Tweels makes any ztr look mean! When I hit on these scratch offs I'm gonna get me a pair!🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yes, they are sweet! Thanks for watching!
Anyone else pissed that sticker didn’t come off? I really thought the last rotation was going to get it.
Ha ha ha. Man I didnt see it until editing.
💪💤👍
Thanks for watching!
Ferris.
Good machines!
@@WesternEquipment the Ferris saves my back~
I had a zero turn
Awesome! What do you have now?
I have a 1025R now, I had a Z925. I think part of my comment is missing. I mow about 6 acres on rough ground. Those torsion front wheels would have been amazing on my Z.
those look like junk and they dont do much it looks like . id kill those in a day on two of my rough sites
These are very very durable. I would suggest giving them a try. Thanks for watching!
@@WesternEquipment i just couldnt see them lasting i do some antenna sites and they are extremely rough but time is of the essence so the mower runs full tilt and the body gets a beatin
Or you can skip this half ass attempt of a suspension system and buy a ferris
This is true, but you're talking about a lot more money than a few hundred dollar suspension system. Thanks for watching!
