Noooooooooo!!!! Never use any type of conditioner on starter locs. It will act as a detangler which is the last thing you want to do to starter locs!!!😫😫 A quick Google search will tell you this. You don't want to do anything that can cause them to unravel. Conditioner and leave in conditioner both detangle hair.

I jus took micro braidloc out 4 days ago after having them installed 4 months ago, I couldn’t take it too tiny and retie was dreadful 😒..2 or 3 loc together, marrying together, slippage, I interlock arnd base tired of slippage jus too much before retie 😔.
Can micro locs be installed using pin straight, very fine, very Irish Caucasian hair? I've been researching on what would be best to save my hair and I've gotten here but even Google can't answer if it is possible.

But naturally, being unable to eat has caused malnutrition and my hair is falling out with every move I make and breaking off no matter what I do. I just want to keep my hair as long as possible.
Same! I'm still thinking about doing it cause it might give it that pretty loose curl look at the ends. I saw a lady add human hair to her relaxed ends.

Make sure you put leave in conditioner on the ends an watch how polished, curl, an moist they will be! Design essential preferably!

How to keep locs from combining as they grow out and get washed? They are so thin. It seems they would easily combine with each other.
