On joyless lanes we walk in lines a calm but steady flow. Accompanied by loud commands our strength is running low. Another hope feeds another reamanother truth installed by the machine.A secret wish the marrying of lies today comes true what common sense denies. Unbelievable how these tunes still kick arse 25 years after !!
I'm curious as to where this specific version of this mix originated, as I own a copy of this mashup on Vinyl (Anniversary, Side 1 Track2, if my memory is correct, on transparent gold/yellow colored vinyl) and it is slightly different than this posted mashup is. I notice a few differences between this mashup and the one I own-I'm more partial to the one on the vinyl than I am to this one.
DJSpidey01 By my use of the term "mashup," I'm referring to how the two songs are melded together. I don't recall ever hearing the term "mashup" when I bought the issue on vinyl in the late 1980s/early 1990s.
+DJSpidey01 Was on Razormaid's "Most Tired Of" offerings... that remix by Art Maharg { R.I.P 91' }. Trans gold vinyl was the one, also had Moskwa TV, Laser Cowboys, Sharpe & Newman... If memory serves me...haven't pulled that one in 25 years!
Somebody messed up or it could have been a remix by Art or Joe on an off label re-release that didn't get on an actual RM promo..as they had that "Tired" mix already. Best version IMO! Still have all the old RM envelopes with letters / upcoming releases in my safe. Art was brilliant, reconstructing track's with a razor blade and tape in the early years. I can't imagine what he and Joseph could have done with current technology. Need to get all my old vinyl out and on to digi..sometimes can't find the track or the mix I like.
+Nate Craik They have at least two versions of this mashup; the one on the vinyl discussed and one which I got from them as a Customize CD, not knowing there was a difference. I like the Anniversary mix of it better (gold/yellow records). Maybe I should just spring for the Library and have both of them digitally available?
wow, razormaid. really? you left one of your best mixes up loaded with glitches? ouch. still....better than not hearing it again at all, so thanks, i guess.
Believe it or not, it's part of the original master of this remix version. I've listened to every single source I could get my grubby little hands on, and they all have those crappy digital clips. Unfortunate, but true. However, it's still the best version of this epic track!

+Nate Craik Correct. This is not the same version as the version on that issue.

too many pops and crackles
I know! But it's still the best version out there IMO.
Wow

I was wondering if I'd lost my mind and no one else heard the pops. Thanks for calling this out.
Turn key now we proceed
Lost in the melody
Your levels were clipping when you uploaded this, or your needle/record were jacked.
De-playlisted due to those horrendous digital clips. tsk. I expected more from you.
