Very neat! The only place that somewhat grabs my attention is around the neck, since the shader almost makes the fur 'flicker' when it collides with itself. Elements also appear to pop in and out, but apart from that, it's marvelous! Knowing how taxing rendering hair on characters and the physics involved used to be in years past, it's amazing to things running so nicely in realtime!
Ok so, the reason the fur around the neck is moving is because my own head is interacting with it, but that can be easily changed by adding a mask to the material which will tell it to stop doing that. The reason fur popped in and out is because of the way the shader has always worked. The old version did that as well but it wasn't as noticeable from the front. In game, you will almost never notice it. It's not 100% perfect, but nothing ever is! :)
@@voxdraco That all makes sense! Glad to know that there's a simple solution to the collision side of things, since the flickering won't be noticeable during normal activity in game like you mentioned. And you're right - it's not perfect, but nothing ever is, nor does it need to be! What matters is how well it allows you to represent yourself, how happy it makes you, and how fun it'll be for your friends to pat you on the head and actually see feedback as a result! :D Heck, this could lead to a whole new degree of phantom sense for you! Have fun with it
@@voxdracoYeah, I literally just updated my own Touch Response mask yesterday, the same day that I posted another update making it so you can edit them directly with the Fur Grooming tool (rather than Blender or some other software). The biggest false-triggering culprit for me was my nose whiskers, but they're all fixed now!
Looks really good! Hopefully people you hang around are respectful of "just because my avatar can do it, doesn't mean you should just automatically pet me intensely" kinds of things. Otherwise repetitive lessons on the concept of personal space will have to be re-taught.
Looking sharp! Seeing the effect on your neck fluff is especially nifty! Of course, every time I see the shader in action I can't help but hyper-focus on all the little glitches that I still need to fix, lol...
Nothing is ever complete, but this addition is fantastic. The work you do is really important. Please keep it up! I have had no end of good feedback whilst I am basically showing the work giants like you have done.
Amazing! though I'm curious what the performance impacts are, can't be more taxing than running Astronomer's Visual Pack 8K Textures in Kerbal Space Program.
The graphics card must be running hotter than a rocket engine when rendering this! (nah, its probably optimized or something). But seriously, this is incredible and so cool.
Is this a shader version of the grass tech used in some games? I am not a graphics coder, but it does appear to be using a parallax texture instead of 3d grass items like that
It just saddens me that this is dependant on using a paid Unity/VRchat shader, Resonite's fur shader is way more fiddly and nowhere as fancy as this, and baking normals just got me an overall worse result while trying to look properly fluffy, lol.

Lovely update! I love how happy you sound. It does look softer
Agreed, he seems to be in a good headspace
i would pay the artist JUST for a tutorial on how he did that. Looks amazing!
Vox fans running towards him to start touch him xD
Looking very huggable there, Vox!
OMG, this looks so cool! I can't wait to see more furry models implement this on their avatars!
Looks really amazing ❤
Amazing ava update! Love the new look.
Thus is So Cool. Now you'll be feeling real in vr. Great video.

Cool new feature!
That shader is getting more and more awesome.
Kinda want it.
Once an adorable dragon always an adorable dragon, love your content dude!
I have as of yet to use the furshader, but I have bought it. I wanted to support Warren
Looks really good!
Now people won't be able to keep their paws off you X3
Pets and stuff are now extra fluffy! :D

it has been two weeks and im still trying ot make fur shaders work on my avatar~~ you avatar looks awsome Vox Happy you enjoy it :)
Oh my god WHERE CAN I FIND THIS?
Such a pretty boyo!!!
I couldn't get it to work properly with my avatar, so I left it alone.
Although it wouldn't have been that noticeable anyway XD
That is so adorable! I love this technology, I need to know this filter name as soon as possible so I can put it on my radar!

First-gen fur shaders were an easy way to burn any gpu, but the guy who made this is a magician. It runs on my craptop no problem!
Awww why u look so puntable? 🥺
Idk why but your avatar's fur reminds me of Sonic the Wereghog's
Wow and very Cool
"My fur now moves when you touch me...touch me...TOUCH ME GOD DAMN YOU"

People are going to be giving you extra belly rubs now just so they can watch that fur move!
Bah, TBH it really looks like white noise. Love the tongue physics do want.
You're too damned cute
pet pet pet
Omg VOX RTX ON!!!!
Nice but I guess it is big and havey on gpu.
Level up enchanting
i want to find you in world and i want to hug you...
Petability boost +50%

0:44 did you made a terrible mistake right there? 😮🙁
what
@@T_ufy I’m talking about that he disappeared right there at for a second
@@ReKKy-Boo that's the loading avatar
My PC is going to reach sun surface temperature after joining a world with you in it
It really wont. The warrens shader was made with optimization in mind. Its more performative then poiyomi
