At 0.12 we see the cars using the road beside the Yarra River. Nowadays this road ends near the rowing sheds. It once went under Princes Bridge and on past the Allens Sweets factory. 1966 a time of Promise for many. 2018 a time of Uncertainty for many.
2022, with Russia invading the Ukraine with the world looking in disbelief at the Russian president Putin a sick a sick individual if there ever was one and China ready to start World War 3 and take Taiwan if the west dares to directly fight Russia with the Ukraine as this is all it would now take as they are allied with China,, very very precarious and dangerous times ahead unfortunately, I wish we could wind the clock back to 1966 Melbourne and shape the future ahead!
Wow... it feels like I am IN SF, USA back in 66 purely Austraian...Then now the city is the same, the faces of people had changed to be a mega melting pot bigger than NY. Gees, I still love old time and it's color. I can imagine there was also Xmas bells and songs flowing in the whole CBD town and it's not white Xmas.:)
