So I've actually been trying to battle this on my own mountain bike! We don't have the luxury of switching up hand positions like people on a gravel bike do. For me, I think it's mostly been alleviated by making sure my saddle nose isn't tilted too forward so my weight isn't getting pushed too far forward. Then also reducing my stem length by a little bit so my reach isn't as far. I think so far so good but will have to test more this year.
Whoa! I have the same issue. I’m thinking of cutting my bar down to the slightly wider width of shoulders; and also, buying a Loam bar with slightly higher rise. I’m also gonna add the extra grip handles (like the L shape ones) to give more places for my hands to rest on long rides.
Wow. What a ride. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you!
Great video, keep going.
Thank you! Signed up again for BRX 2025!
Just nice to watch while on my home trainer. Love it!
The name of this race made me chuckle.
I can't ride more than 3 miles on mountain bike handlebars. My hands go numb.
