This song has such meaning to me
back in early 2017 I lost my fiance in a car accident and was an emotional wreck. I visited a close friends place in the woods where in my room there i was thinking about life and why would I go on, whats the use when the ones I love are taken away from me
then suddenly I heard this song and my emotions changed as sun entered my room from the skylight above. I heard these quotes and I nearly burst into tears. I had to go on with life and explore this harsh world we call earth.
“You sure you want to leave? Where are you going to go?”
“To see what the rest of the wasteland looks like.”
“Well there's not much to see there kid.”
“I know.” (echos as its spoken)
every time I hear this song im almost in tears and it brings me back to that moment where I wanted to live. I wanted to continue
thank you soo very much for something that changed my life
Damn, this hits hard. I'm sorry for your loss.
Sorry for your loss konijntje, But happy to see you are still here and things have made a more possitive turn for you with a little help from Le Matos and Turbo Kid ;)

This conversation between them always makes me cry. I feel sadness and hope for the future in same time. That's incredible feeling.
Le Matos, you guys are the best synthwave artists ever, just so you know.
agreed
One of the best songs to one of the best films ever in my opinion
Agreed

In our lifetime.
mine too
It's 2023 and I'm steel in love with that
Turbo Kid is my favorite movie of all time, thanks in part to the amazing original score you guys did.
This song in particular raises the hair on my spine and makes me cry tears of joy every time as I remember the scene....
As turbo kid smiles and then rides off into the distance.
Riveting. Absolutely riveting.
This is how you do 80s style music for a movie that gets what made 80s movies so special. Just tons of awesome all around.
literally sobbing bc of this song, like fuck
Not only does this song perfectly close the film, it stands alone as one of the best tracks of the decade. Such a powerfully dynamic & emotive track, simultaneously inspiring great sadness & profound hope. You guys have eclipsed Vangelis with this one and the entire TK soundtrack. Bon Travail! Vive Le Matos!!! ✌🏻
Glad that someone came in here a year ago to pretty succinctly state what was most likely to be unnecessarily verbose coming from my typey fingers.
Track of the decade? Jesus christ.
Gawd damn i love this track. Its just as amazing as the movie itself.
My dad died in 2015 around the time that this movie came out and ever since I watched it at the teeny bar theater North of me with a couple friends, your music, in particular this track, has been a lifesource. A cozy synthesizer blankey. And the gleefully gory film a reliably amiable (for some) environment to roam in for a while. Can't wait to play some pixely goodness to your jams when my Kickstarted Switch game arrives. Thank you for your musical services.
Good movie 🪀🔪🪓🔨⛏💣 ,and good music 2
i was spamming this song so much because i loved the movie... at that time my dog was very sick and we took him to the vet one last time... as he was falling asleep, the beggining of the song looped in my head while i looked in his eyes. inevitably this wonderful song became the goodbye song of oscar the beagle :( such a good dog. such a good song. i dared to come and listen to this again after such a long time.. instant cry... rip doggy woggy
I lost my sister and brother in law a number of years ago, both of them were 23. They were survived by their little 1 year old girl. I quit school, quit my job so I could move back home with my parents and raise my niece full time. I was only 21. The pain of losing them both never dies, it has been a rough journey. I sacrificed my prime years so my niece would have a better life. When I came across this song, I felt like my sister sent it to me. Like she was telling me to "Go see the rest of the world". Like she was saying this her death is now my journey of becoming who I am today.
These jams are so tight. I can't believe I'm this late to the party 😂
You're not late to the party. Get in here.
@@kingravana god bless you. Let's dance!
Soy de México y para mí está no es simplemente musica, es algo más que simplemente no tiene explicación y para mí vida esta pieza es infaltable, muchas gracias Le Matos 🥺🇲🇽
*This is the soundtrack of my life thank you LE MATOS for making this masterpiece. And to the movie also long live THE KID!*
A perfect film ! And a perfect score!
This movie is so beautifully 80's it hurts. Well done, well done indeed, much childhood reimagining in the flesh.
Best electronic / synth wave outfit ever. The layers of production is just amazing. This soundtrack has as much influence on the story of this film as the cinematography does; I cannot separate the audio from the visuals. I’ve watched the movie countless times, and listened to this soundtrack even more times than that. Though I love the film, it absolutely in part depends on this soundtrack. There’s only a handful of films and soundtracks that compliment each other on such a level. Truly a masterpiece. I just had to gush for a minute to express my total appreciation of what you guys were able to achieve here. I only wish more people would experience it.
Grab your bmx'z boyz... Sun is up!
Yas!
Great music. Great movie.
Such greatness
Esta pieza me hace soñar simplemente

Напомните,из какой сцены Саманты этот трек?
Сцена со сном, когда на маскараде Саманта поверила, что Элли - это Семён
