Whose here after Excision?
Peak mission
Goated mission. Great ending to the saga
Such a brilliant mission to end the saga!
Halo 3 levels of awesomeness!
A huge W
"We...I...
...I don't understand..."
and so it died
alone
realizing that in the end, the collective will was not its own
"You show that shape it ain't final!"

Goodbye again Cayde
This is the song that plays at the end of the D1 campaign. And now it plays at the end of the Saga. All Ends Are Beginnings. Beautiful...
We end as we began (Khra)

Also has bits of Untold Legends
For real?? That make it way Better !!!
It’s all come full circle.
All Ends are Beginnings as a potential final stand DPS theme is not something I knew I needed until now…
Same, my eyes went wide when I heard that melody woven into it.
Final stands are not 4 minutes, this is probably for the final story mission which launches after the raid

This is peak Salvatori right here ❤
Hi Aksula-1, didn't expect to see you here
The man himself. Hi. This whole OST is great but A Knife in the Garden, Stronger Together and this one have to be the most PEAK I've heard.
Indeed, it's truly a shame that he was fired, the game soundtrack will never be the same without him
0:58 enough to make a grown man cry
(I'm crying)
It’s now or never, everyone. Unleash our light on the Witness!

Here is what a flower knows
The direction of the sun.
The presence of the rain.
The tangle of the roots.
The distress of another plant.
The hands of the gardener, whether they prune or transplant or crush.
A flower cannot know much else. But the reality of the garden is vast and wild. A flower knows not the fence; a flower knows not the footpath. And yet there is an infinite cosmic garden, which is not any less real simply because the flower cannot possibly comprehend it…
Damn that's so poetic did you come up with that yourself or is it a quote from someone else?
To Salvatori, Sechrist, and everyone who worked on this OST. Thank you for everything.
We will make our own fates!
Our legends have been told at last.
And with this end of a saga, there's a new beginning.
Thank you Mike for this love letter to the fans.
This is Michael Salvatori's work and you can FEEL it,not just hear it.
Literally the best soundtrack ever.
i dont think ill have an experience like 10 years of destiny again
Now the Untold legend has emerged in the Light and Darkness, Rise from oblivion and at the end of the Journey, Become legend. Make your own fate, Guardian.
Witness who? Yeah, witness my flaming hammers

Not me struggling not to cry listening to this one too.
It's so great to finally have All Ends Are Beginnings and Untold Legends together again (they were originally written as one track, just split in two on the original D1 OST album). This came at the perfect moment, when it was needed most. This may be the last Destiny track to specifically be written by Michael Salvatori, but what a one to end on. Wow.
Hearing Journey, AEAB, and UL at the same time was not something I knew I needed, but it hits all of my feels. Also 1AU (my favorite part of 1AU at that!) being in this was NOT something I was expecting but I literally screamed.
Thank you for everything, Mike. You have made the music to all of my favorite games, from Halo to Destiny to even Stubbs the Zombie. You've also done so much for me as a person, so if you're reading this, thank you for the last 10 years of Destiny, and all the years of music before that all the way back to 1997 when I was 3 years away from being born. I'm going to listen to and study your music for a lifetime, and I know I'm not alone in that. Thank you for your guidance, and for seeing the good in me when you (admittedly) had every reason not to.
Bungie will never be the same without you, Sechrist, and Skye. Bungie's motto is "teams are greater than heroes" and when you had this music team, there is no better way to put it.
May their Legend never be Untold.
All I can say is "Wow" when listening to this track. So many motifs blended seamlessly together. A keen ear will hear Untold Legends, The Rose, The Tribulation, Journey, and Rise. This is the payoff we've been waiting for, the Destiny Gravy at its finest. Here's to 10 years of Destiny, through everything. I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. Thank you.
There's also All Ends Are Beginnings, Be Brave, and the new Final Shape motif. Can you possibly point out which parts have The Rose and The Tribulation? I think I hear the slow "fantasy" part of The Rose at 2:40 in the choir (and in the brass right before that) but I can't make out The Tribulation.
@@AtlyxMusicafter listening to this track one too many times I think the parts of Tribulation and Rose come from the Untold Legends part. You don't hear it exactly, but the fact that this song uses Untold Legends which is also a mix of many motifs is what made me say Rose and Tribulation, respectively. Maybe it isn't exactly the same motifs, but I can see why you might hear bits of them.
Also the unreleased track that plays when you assault the almighty right before the end. Pretty cool to hear that return too
You are also missing “untold legends of the almighty” D2 variant and inner light.
The true final challenge was in the raid. This is just the victory lap, and this track conveys that perfectly.
I am so satisfied with how the final shape turned out. Thank you bungie.
Destiny, you may not have been the best game for the past 9 years of my life- but damn, are you an artistic masterpiece.
This soundtrack just has the Destiny juice to it, the music team has never disappointed! Cant wait for The Final Shape, and wherever it takes us!
every part of tfs was expertly cooked 😩👌
Peak destiny ost
"Excision" Mission
"The Witness"
0:01 DPS Phase
4:20 End
You did what I didn’t think possible, you sent it out with a bang
To Mike if you see this, yours and the teams OST's are truly the thing that pushes Destiny over the edge for me. Sometimes I look forward to the OST more than the actual game! Without these I don't think Destiny would have stuck with me after all this time (pun definitely intended). Music is an incredible artform, and for Destiny, your music can connect events, characters, and ideas together with a single motif, and it is really incredible. This track is all I could have ever asked for for an epic final moment. Thank you sir for your work on Destiny and the impact your music has made on me. Destiny would not be Destiny without you
I'm afraid this is peak.
Let us enjoy the view.... becuase we ain't ever reaching the top again
I have a feeling this is gonna be the theme that plays during the rumoured 12 man final stand with the witness
WELL HOW ABOUT THAT.
The musical mastery at work is incredible. I ain’t weepy but I’m getting teary-eyed the more I catch all the intricacies and leitmotifs. Best game OST of all time
Amazing music for an amazing mission, glad it was used somewhere truly special
I feel like this will happen at the end of the raid when the guardians chase the witness as it tries to flee the pale heart and we end up finishing it as a 12 person fireteam.
Apollo and the gift of prophecy

@@kiyama7997 Nah, Error code BROCCOLI at the very end of the Salvation raid, ha!
From 3:30 onward is absolutely incredible. Imagine hearing this while fighting the Witness.
I'm convinced this is the final encounter of the raid, and that bit is final stand dps. I'm gonna be too distracted by the music to focus on dps lmao
@@joshaboi7467 Could be, but Precipice sounds far more like a raid finale. The campaign also concludes after the raid is beaten, so I'm 90% sure that's the reason for the order here
@@FiragaaPrecipice just doesn’t hit final boss music for me. It feels too repetitive and it’s missing a lot of things that connect songs like Oneirophobia, First Disciple, and Look Within. They all have this like dark but upbeat feel to them, and they all feature an almost battle between light and dark themes, Oneirophobia especially. I feel like Unmade could end up being the final boss song, it gives the same feel as those three I mentioned and it also has a lot of changes that feel like changes in the phase of the encounter. I think Unmade will be the raid song, then Precipice and Make Your Own Fate will go back to back in the final mission as we eventually start to win.
Don’t have to imagine no more
The Witness: WE ARE SALVATION!
Guardians: FINAL FLASH!
I’m not the only one
SOON ALL YOU WILL BE FEELING IS OBLIVION
one of the highlight songs in this ost
We make our own fate, Guardians!! Time to become legend!!!!
Destiny never disappoints with soundtracks
This is a perfect redo of “Untold Legends” which sadly never got used much
I’m in charge of my own destiny.
I make my own luck.
I, a guardian, make my own fate.
When they re-did All Ends are beginnings for Into the Light I had a suspicion it would feature again in this expansion. It was just a matter of when. I got the soundtrack for it dropped so when I heard it, I was like it has to be a finale somewhere and it was!
Been listening to this since it came out omg, all the different iconic destiny tracks coming together gives me goodebumps!
If this is the music for a potential witness boss fight then it’s OUR theme and not the Witness’
I think it's to hopeful for a witness boss, probably final boss of the campaign, savala the last desciple
@Jayxe_1 it's for a 12 player activity where EVERYONE gathers forth to fight the forces of the witness and 12 guardians end the witness once and for all.
This was our DPS phase
It ended as it began. You can recognize all the previous osts in there.
Another banger. OST never disappoints.
untold legends remix. the hype is real
Really think After All This Time was the best way to end off The Final Shape's soundtrack. Nice work Mike, and thank you for the music of the last decade.
Beautiful. I've listened to this for 5 hours now.
I knew this would be the final song thank god it is
First thing on my mind: CHARRRRRRGEEEE
Second thing on my mind: FOR THE PUPPIIIIIEEEEEESSSSSSSS
A fitting musical end to our great and long journey. I’ll see you all when the fog has lifted…
Man! What a through back to "Red War" campaign.
It's a through back all the way to Destiny 1, the tune throughout but primarily at the end plays in the final cutscene of vanilla D1, it's so funny because it never felt earned there, we had no idea wtf happened in the campaign or what we did, but after all this time it really is the culmination. It's so cool.
We gotta rush throw the campaign in 3 days, if we wanna make it two the raid without any spoilers throwout the raid.
Love this!!! I cried 😭
It was a good journey with you all, the best of rng to everyone! thank this community for the years of playing this game. This is IT. THE END. What we’ve been FIGHTING for, what we’ve been dying and wiping for. Our Destiny was never the loot, it was the experiences and memories we had along the way.

So beautiful
Oh, yeah. it's all coming together
Banger
A 10 years journey come to an end, but overall every mission, raid or even a strike It wouldn't have been the same if it hadn't this bangers soundtracks, thank you Mike and the team OST's for all !!!
part 3 of almighty theme
Definitely last encounter theme. Maybe something like Riven's heart?
or her nutsack...
Could also be what plays whilst beating the Witness in Mission 8, releasing post-raid. We've stopped the Final Shape, now lets end this, type of deal. Next two tracks then lead into the first episode and beyond.
@@MrJakeasaur98Yeah this song gives me the same feeling as Look Within. We stopped Taniks from nuking Europa, then it was time to take care of unfinished buisness.
Light's End making a return here. Fitting.
Este é o nosso momento ❤
I hear the theme from the end of vanilla Destiny 1. I'm happy.
Michael Salvatori and the team are the standard. Period. The way that the Destiny soundtrack so effectively and effortlessly conveys it as one long story throughout the first and second game is so beautifully done. Every piece connects to one another. Their use of melody is just so outstanding. I never have any words, just tears and amazement.
If you listen close it has little motifs from previous expansions/raids and other things from the universe in it.
Peak it seems
All ends are beginnings
We unmaking the witness in an endgame final battle
What was made, can be unmade.
I know what I must do.
Maybe im missing it, but i couldn't hear the part we hear in the mission when we free the dissenters with our swords?
Patrol music 100%
What was made can be unmade.
I keep replaying this, trying to pick out the Journey motif, but I'm not hearing it. Can a sharp-eared listener point me toward it?
